Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
I doubt Lock makes it out of the top 5 (due to trades) and he certainly won't make it past Denver at 10. Are you suggesting we trade up to get him?

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
I'm not sure Lock is a top 5 pick, Murray , Haskins and Jones could all go before him. Either way I would not trade up for any QB in this class outside of Murray

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
No, definitely don't want to move up. If Lock isn't there at 15 you fill one of our many other holes with BPA. If we don't get Lock I'd prefer White or Burns (Sweat too, but he'll be gone by 15).

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
Is there any reason people keep mentioning Rypien other than that his uncle played for us? I'm no scout, but I don't really feel he's an NFL player.

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
The good thing is if you draft a player like him if he doesn't workout as a starter he can still be a young cheap backup. Especially with Colt and Keenum being FAs after this year. I'm probably biased by nostalgia, but I think he can definitely at least be a serviceable backup.

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
Well you probably haven't seen Boise play the last 4 years. He's a legit prospect and really don't know why he's not being mentioned up there with some of the other guys. He's got tremendous accuracy, he has gotten under center, runs a lot of pro concepts in their passing game, has plenty of arm, quick release. He's every bit as good as Rosen was coming out last year if not better. I hope we draft him. He'd be a perfect fit for Gruden's offense.

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
2017 was a career year for Keenum, he was on a loaded offense. Highly doubtful he ever matches that type of production. Last year was more reflective of the type of QB he is.

IMO he and Colt are basically the same guy. I give the edge to Keenum simply because he is durable. |

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
To be fair, Denver Broncos win-loss record under head coach Vance Joseph and GM John Elway:
2017 5-11 last place in AFC west 2018. 6-10 3rd place in AFC west (with Case Keenum) No way you can blame Case Keenum. Plus now Elway signed Flaco. They are a team in decline regardless of QB. The almost same talent loaded Vikings team that Case came one game away from one game away from Super Bowl failed last year with Cousins. I think there is too much emphasis on QB when judging a teams season. Even the top QB’s Aaron Rogers and Drew Brees fail when the team around them are bad. Just like Rosen hopefuls defend his lack of accomplishments by saying he was on bad Cardinal and to lesser extent UCLA team. |

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
From JpFinlay "the Redskins are not done at QB, they will add another before may (draft). Rosen still very much in play "

Re: Case Keenum to the Skins
You guys are going to be surprised... Case is a much better Qb than you think.. go watch his poise in games on the line in 2017 when he went 1 game from Super Bowl! We need some wr’s .. if we get some receiver help the O could be okay!
