And right now who do we have that is better? Our wr's are not better than theirs. Reed and Engram are a split. Both Qb's are not playing well. I'm curious how you think we're going to roll up there and blow the Giants out. It will be a close game that will come down to the last few minutes.

who is more likely to lead their club to a final, last drive win? Alex or Eli?

If we have CT back and PR / Crowder I think we can win by 10. If not yes I agree it'll be closer

Re: Around the league week 7

Watched the game last night to see our next two opponents. Came away convinced we SHOULD beat them both.

The Giants are a bad team that we should beat handily. Shut down Barkley same way they shut Elliot. Pressure Manning and he will make mistakes. The potential for a +5 sack day exists. And, unlike this past week, where we often needed five to create the pressure, I am pretty sure rushing four will be enough to get past the porous Giants O-Line. With the ability to drop seven in the obvious passing downs, the DB's / LB's should be able to contain OBJ and Sharpe. As always, however, chunk plays will likely be an issue for us.

While I will worry about Atlanta after we take care of business against NY, I suggest that, at home, we should beat them as well. They have no running game to speak of and their D is decimated by injuries. Ryan is a solid QB but just seems to play better at home than on the road. Their WR's create all sorts of match-up problems and I am concerned their RB's will eat up our LB's in coverage. However, I think our D is better than NYG's and, with Ryan playing on the road, their offense simply isn't as high-powered as at home.

SHOULD BEAT. As others have said, this team needs to forget the win and prepare. J. Allen was saying on the post game that the Alabama process was the same win or lose and, as a result, they won -- a lot. Love his mindset and hope it is infecting his teammates.

Cooper to Dallas for a 1st? Glad it was them and not us.

Just as much, which defense do you trust in the last 4 minutes of the game?

And for the first time in forever, you have to answer Redskins D.

Eli, even though he’s been shitty the last couple of years he’s a proven winner. You just don’t beat NE in the SB twice.

The Eli that won those Super Bowls is long gone.

Thats's true,but the Alex Smith of last yr seems to be long gone also.It's hard to judge Eli this year based on how bad is line is,give him time and Eli can still be very effective,just look what he did to the Texans when his line gave him decent protection.{25-29 297 yards 2 tds}

I agree with this but we find a way to make bad teams look good.
We need Norman and Dunbar to step up against OBJ and Julio.

I think the only bad team we've played this season has been Arizona, and we all know how that turned out. Other than that, I think we've played pretty tough teams and still done well.

My concern is that the Giants always seem to have our number, especially when they are in desperation mode.

You do when you are ten years younger and have the best defense in football. This team is shit - its a rivalry game and all - but this team is far removed from beating anyone let alone NE in the Superbowl.
