Skins vs Fins Week one Gameday thread

Well here we go! First game is just a few hours away. All the drama, talking, and conjecture is out the window and it is time to play some football! Cheers!

Re: Skins vs Fins Week one Gameday thread

Last year really took a toll on me, so this year as a backup plan I'm also rooting for the colts. I went to school with Andre Johnson and frank gore so I'm gonna root for them. Plus they drafted Dorset in the third round. And they're guaranteed to get more than four wins lol. Clearly it's before game one so I'm still optimistic on the skins but....

So you must have been there just after me. Think we have had this discussion before. Jesse Armstead was in my four person study group in an english class - also Martin Patton who would have been a stud but he got into trouble. Armstead was really really smart - played that way too.

Super excited for the first full day of football! Hoping for a win, obviously. Pretty excited about the beer specials!

Big Rick Flair wooooooooooooo!

Finally football is back

What's the food line up for folks? I'm gonna stay relatively low key...bbq roast beef panini, home made stovetop potatoes and onions, and chips and salsa.

Glad football is back but this is a season the skins have to win my fandom. I will watch but if they are the skins of the last 2 years the TV will be off by halftime

They need to put a legitimate team on the field.

I'm anxious to see how this team plays. Not going to expect much.

Re: Skins vs Fins Week one Gameday thread

I just hope all of who have a positive outlook for a major improvement over the last two seasons still have it after today's game is over. It would be nice to see Kirk have a great game so we could believe just maybe that we have a chance
to have a solid QB for the next 10 years. Like I said, I am slowly converting to a full time Redskin fan so my knowledge of the history of the team isn't that great. Hasn't it been 15-20 years (Mark Rypien) since the Skins had solid QB play for more than a year here and there?

I would expect that to be posted on April 1st. You sure that isn't a link to an old
April Fool's joke? If true the only person that could have made that decision is
Scottie after a fifth of whiskey.

Re: Skins vs Fins Week one Gameday thread

We don't have a blocking TE taking the field today.

This is really bad.

(I know, I know, this was going to be Compton's breakout game)

Would rather have him than not though.
