Oh, i remember peety pablo, thas cool.
I did not realize the great deal we have with Jansen. He is equal in skill at least to Samuels, and is coming at half the price |

Let's not forget how consistent Jansen has been....unlike ummmm Samuels? Arguably the most underrated tackle in the NFL, and we're lucky enough to have him at that price. I'm pretty sure he'll get recognized a little more this year since he is working Brunell's blind side. I think our whole O-Line will be one of the best. Dirtbags baby.... |

definitely. One thing that surprised me is that in the sporting news, they are doing position by position grades for each team. Our interior line got a C+. i was very surprised because teams with mediocre lines got better grades than us. I thought we should be at least a B. Randy Thomas is a monster, and Dockery was very strong

I think the whole reason for that was because of the way they performed last year. Dockery did fairly well, and he has the size and potential to become a premier lineman. With Buges back and with an offense primarily based on the running game, the o-line should get the respect it deserves.

I think the scariest part of that $102 mil is that it only includes the salaries for 35 players. Looks like we'll have to draft really well in the next couple of years to fill some gaps as we will have some awfully tough personnel decisions to make in a few years.

we'll be dumping some large salaries im sure. Brunell wont be around too long, and Samuels will eventually have to re-structure or be out

I think we should look at resigning Hamdan and McCullough ASAP. They haven't proved themselves yet, but I suspect they have good potential, if not as starters, certainly as reliable backups. Sign them now to 4/5 year deals and we could get a couple of bargains.
Oh and I agree on Wynn. |

Good job explaining the release fee Canuck. Now onto a more important question "Save the Expos"??. You're knowledgable about the business of sports, so explain to me how you think the Expos can stay in Montreal and be competitive?
Are you a CFL fan, if so who's your team, the Alouettes? I'm an Argo fan myself, but my cousin is a die-hard Alouettes fan. We've got our CFL fantasy draft this weekend.

2. The CFL - I used to watch it a lot as a kid back when Warren Moon was dominating with the Eskimos. Then in 1981 I became a Skins fan and never looked back. The CFL is ok but I can't really get into it. They do have a knack for producing star NFL QBs though - Moon, Flutie, THEISMANN. Let me ask you this - there are CFL fantasy drafts??????? Wow. Not sure I can help you out too much. Of course if Matty shows me the big $$$, I may be willing to start a "Canuck's Alouette Minicamp Report" like JoeCrisp. In fact I live about 5 minutes from the Alouettes' DOWNTOWN STADIUM (see #1). GO SKINS Mr. Snyder - PLEASE BUY THE EXPOS |
