Re: MLB 2014 Season
The Nats better get their clutch hitters to wake up. Maybe this is the year that will need to be wiped off the books. Against a good pitcher, the Nats go to sleep.

They interviewed him before Friday's game and he said he wanted to, "Kick some ass". Which is weird, cause he ended up looking like a little girl for freaking out over a hard tag. Like, dude... get over it and move on. On a positive note- it looks like Gausman is legit, and they have in him the starting rotation now. I'm a big fan of our young pitchers- (Harvey, Gausman, Bundy, etc) so I'm glad we didn't pull the trigger on that Samardzija trade.

Generally - 1) he may have bought into the media hype a little bit, 2) very slow initial start, 3) sensitive to his knee Specifically - 1) w 2 outs, the 3B usually throws to 1st for the last out 2) donaldson gave a lil punch to the tag (bc manny was trying to evade said tag) I have 3 disagreements w As fans - 1) the 2 pitches to donaldson by chen did not seem intentional to me. chen does not hit or retaliate and donaldson sits over the plate and had hit a homer earlier in the game; the game was close and not a time pitchers would want to put a guy on, on top of the count being 3-2. 2) As fans lose all credibility when the say abad wasnt intentionally throwing at manny's knee's in the 8th inning 3) manny didnt seem intentionally hit the catcher norris' head on his backswing. manny is lanky and has a long back swing. norris is getting as close as he can to catch change ups and breaking pitches. the catcher needs to adjust his crotch position based on the hitter. 4) manny trying to hold back a smile cant be attributed to him smiling about hurting norris. manny should have checked on him and showed some concern though. .. with all that said, manny needs to drop the bat and punch abad in his mutha effing face. |

Re: MLB 2014 Season
He likes the Lakers and Duke too? LOL.
Wow, there's NO ONE out there like that. I guess he'd like the Yankees if he didn't play for Washington?

Re: MLB 2014 Season
Wall may be a Cowboys fan, but since he's not a die-hard it doesn't matter as much. After all, he helped recruit DJax here, so he can't be that bad even if he does reek a little from that Dallas stench.
