Nhl 2014-2015

So the season begins for the Caps on Friday. New FO, new coach, two big defense line upgrades. There is plenty of reason to be optimistic about a return to the playoffs. Throw in the Eastern Conference is weaker than the West. I am pumped about the Winter Classic, I liked the sweaters I saw they are going to wear almost a tribute to "golden years" hockey.

So 5 games into the season but I am not sure if the new defensive linemen are having the expected impact. The two shoot out losses did come against two of the better teams but we can't be giving up 3 goals in a period and expect to be competitive in the play offs. My early season prediction is that we make the play offs but probably roll early again.

Heard it is a playoff caliber crowd down at Nats stadium. Hopefully the Caps put on a good show. The region needs this.

I regret not getting tickets to the Winter Classic. What a hell of a game and an amazing ending for the Caps.

Yeah it looked beautiful out there today. Really wish I could've gone, but I won't complain too much, got half off on an Ovi sweater at Modells a couple days ago. A nice souvenir to remember a great game. I'm just excited for DC on the national stage, we really showed up and repped this town nicely on national tv. It was a great game, a great setting, the Caps won, so I can't ask for much more. Definitely hope we have the opportunity to host something like that again, I would love to go if the budget supports it.

Re: Nhl 2014-2015

Tough loss against a very good opponent (Nashville) today. Especially with Rangers and Islanders losing.

In NCAA the round of 8 has a 5:30 pm start Univ-Min Dultuh vs. Boston Univ. Should be a scoring affair. Watch for Jack Eichel from BU. Dude is the truth.
