I was at Kirks football camp today.

I rode my bike to the Hope College stadium where I knew the camp was going on. I wore my Cousins jersey/T-shirt.
I scouted around (there was no security) until I found him under an awning furiously signing little white nerf footballs.
A lady walked by that was helping him and I told her that I was a life long Redskins fan and could I meet him.
She seemed to think it was fine and she introduced me.
We chatted a bit about football in general and I told him most Redskin fans really liked him and I said we need you in Washington for at least six more years.
His response was "I want to be there too."
As I walked away I said, beat Dallas and New York and Philly.
He said he would do that for me.
Oh, and he volunteered to sign my jersey.

Very cool AW, sounds like a good time. I saw him at the DC auto show at the convention center last year but he was doing a signing and the line to meet him stretched around the room. He seems genuine, I stood there and watched him for a minute and he was chatting up everybody, not rushing anything. You can tell he doesn't take it for granted like others do. Can't understand why everybody likes him except DS/BA.

Very, very cool! Thanks for representing the fan base so well. I don't know how the contract situation will turn out but I believe that we couldn't get any better person to be the face of the franchise.
