Itís not Rivera 2.0, heís not going to be making personnel/roster decisions and juggling a million things at once.

Iím giving benefit of the doubt to Adam Peters. He knows a hell of a lot more than we do.

And letís see how the staff fills out. No question Quinn is a respected leader and as HC thatís his main responsibility.

I think he's a tad better than Rivera as he won't regularly fold his arms and nap during games, but this move doesn't do anything for me.

I'd like to be pleasantly surprised.

Re: Our New Head Coach - Dan Quinn

I'm assuming an older HC is going to hire older coordinators. This move is a bummer to me.

I hope I'm dead wrong about him but I'm not very optimistic at this moment.

Re: Our New Head Coach - Dan Quinn

At the very least, the dude can coach a defense. Let's hope he's able to get a good OC in here as well as the rest of the staff. He seems to be well connected and well respected, and this will hurt the "boys". Let's just hope he works out better than the last assistant coach we got from them.

Only time will tellÖ.
At the very least he is familiar with the Cowboys O!

Not necessarily, he had Kyle Shanahan as OC in ATL

I think you are more right than wrong. If Wash builds itself as a defense first team they just wont be successful. The OC hire is everything now. In today's NFL teams need a great O and a good D, not the other was around.

Really?

Is Quinn going to be saddled with a carryover QB by the owner the way Snyder forced Haskins on Ron? Is Harris going to force a Carson Wentz-type QB on Quinn? Is Quinn going to be dealing with an owner that is being accused of fraud and sexual harrassment, and who is gutting the team of money?

I'm sorry but when people say comments like this, you are disregarding how much Snyder's terrible ownership killed any chances of success for anyone.

This is not happening now.

😀😀😀😀.. third choice reach that 2 weeks ago the vast majority on here hated the thought . I criticized the way this has been handled and stand by it ! Would have liked it if they had said Quinn is our guy and went and got him weeks ago .. you guys don't see this as a desperate move ?? Spin it any way you like this is not what this team needed ..we shall see won't we .SMH. I'm not cutting this new ownership any slack !!

Exactly.

Though, Peters didnít have a ton of options. Peters settled here. Im ok with it. If Quinn fails move on. Coaches are different than committing to players. Letís get to that draft and letís get to FA. No more Mr Bungle decimating our roster and picking based on position flex. Go get some game changers Peters.
