Thank god.

Also hell no to Keenum
I thought they may be one to draft Jones or Lock. And wasn't Keenum on a 3 year deal with them? Maybe Shurmur brings Keenum there since he worked well in his system before.

The Keenum era ended quickly. Good move for Denver. Flacco is still a solid starter and better than Keenum.

I think it was 2 years deal.. And I doubt this means Broncos will not draft a QB although, I imagine it's unlikely for them to draft a QB with their 1st rd pick. This might be good thing for Redskins.

That squashes all of those "Flacco to Washington" predictions.....

It also suggests that Denver might be in the QB market in this years draft. Flacco is long in the tooth to be considered a long-term franchise QB.

Role may be more of a bridge.

If Iím a Broncos fan this move does nothing for me. Flacco is a slight upgrade at best.

They could but getting Flacco says theyíre trying to win now. Theyíve got other spots to upgrade.

Well Denver Iím sure will be releasing him and he shouldnít be that expensive. If Smith doesnít play this year I would be fine in having the Skins rent Case for a year.Heís as good as Colt and at least heís proven he can stay healthy which Colt canít do,Skins donít have a lot of options

Was he junk with the Vikings? Itís not like Denver was loaded with offensive talent and they had injuries on their offense line also.Anyway Iím not saying heís great, just that he would be a decent fill in with the skins limited options. We already agreed Colt was not the answer,so whatís your plan? Draft a rookie and throw him in the fire right away? Bridgewater? He played like shit for Saints last game,so who do you think Skins can afford to sign that would be better stopgap?

Sports Center was saying the landing spot for Keenum is with the Skins and Bridgwater with the Jags.

I agree that Keenum might not be a bad Stop Gap option to backup Colt McCoy.

As you pointed out, Keenum played decent enough with the Vikings.

Re: All things NFL Offseason 2019.

as it stands we have Colt and who else?? Sanchez or Johnson under center and we lose maybe every game. So the talk about Case maybe is not crazy .. what other options is there ..reach for a QB in draft is very risky .. Colt,Case and pick a Qb in later round would not be the worse thing they could do..

not going to happen for vet minimum, mediocre QBs get $10+ minimum. He got $18 million from Denver.
