There isn't anyone they could get that will play as well as Cousins but i think they are damn sure going to try this off-season. One of the telling things i heard today during the pre-game, i believe it was Troy Aikman who was breaking down both QB's and he said "The redskins are not expected to be keeping Cousins this off-season", and i felt for sure i heard him wrong, but then i wondered if maybe he heard something internal somehow from someone that he might still know / talk to, etc...

I just watched the pregame again and heard nothing of the sort. I also checked Twitter because no doubt someone would have mentioned it.

Re: Cowpukes postgame finger pointing thread

Defense just needs a few more guys, we are really close. They can't hold up if the offense isn't perfect. The cowboys are really hot right now. They also don't make mistakes, which is really a great way to win. We definately made mistakes, 55 yard field goal attempt was a bad idea. The whole team was holding their hands up because of the sun. We also kept struggling to block on run plays, probably because people are banged up and short week.

Re: Cowpukes postgame finger pointing thread

With how the Cowboys are doing this year, its better to go 0-2 against them and 4-0 against everyone else in our division. We can still do that.

Next week is definitely a hot pink code red game. Need to get to 7-4-1.

Against good teams our offense has to play just about perfect to win. They were merely good today so we lost.

Need more players on D.

I saw Jackson tugged by the jersey no call, Whitner penalty shouldn't have. Personal foul called as his momentum had him moving and could not stop, many other bullshit non calls by their DB's holding in the endzone.

Yup. We are real close.
I would say I think the offense was very good today. Yeah we didn't punch it in early but u nail the fg's and boom. We moved the ball with ease all night. 26 points. That sort of offense should win.

Re: Cowpukes postgame finger pointing thread

P Smith is slow as fuck, He's probably better off a run guy because he just doesn't get off the edge..

Also here is y I think QBR is a flat joke,

Cousins had 300 more yards than dak passing damn near and 2 more TDS. No TO's and he had a lower QBR? LOL thats a joke

Keim agrees:

Gruden rolled the dice. But coaching decisions gave Dallas two shorter fields to drive. They converted both into TDs.

Joe Bare and his below average scheme has to take most of the blame. This defense is totally unreliable. Will Compton is not a starting inside middle linebacker. The offense was "pretty good." Kirk had a huge game. But the offense couldn't punch it in. That made the difference in the game.
