Re: The 2nd and 3rd Round Draft Picks/Prospects

I like the nfl.com 2nd/3rd round mock, under the circumstances (not being able to trade up for a starting LT):
36 Dejean
40 Suamataia
67 Polk
78 Johnson
100 Green

Maybe we've missed out on a starting LT, but this addresses DB, TE and tops up the WR room, plus a young T that has the physicals and the pedigree (Sewell's cousin) to do well in the NFL. I'd be plenty happy with this lot in the bag before rd 4.

His highlight reel on YouTube is impressive. Fast, athletic and physical.
As much as I want OL the most, if DeJean is there, BPA logic leans to taking him.

The best OL ranked in round two (not reaching for one) are interior lineman.
There are a couple of LB’s that are lining up BPA and we need.
OT might be a reach at 36 and 40 with who is left.
As a Wisconsin alum, I HATE Iowa, but yeah, I would be elated to get him at 36. Just a really good all-around player.

Im not saying to reach necessarily. I know i said reach. Bad choice of words. Maybe just ignore the few you have bpa in front of them. A slight reach. Lol. Just remember how important the oline is and if you think there is a guy there who can step in and help then…..

I think if Kingsley or Fisher is sitting there in the third they need to go get em. Take a corner with 36. Three good ones at the top of bpa right now

Absolutely, and he can't fill all the holes in one offseason.

Let's not overcomplicate things and reach unnecessarily.
That would be my approach as well. One difference in my preferred approach would be to extend your idea through the third round because I believe this draft is extraordinarily deep.

LB's Edgerrin Cooper and Junior Colson look swift and strong.
Kool-Aid McKinstry looked good against LSU last year. Jayden threw away from him. Respect? I like that he is a little bigger, not pencil thin for a corner.
