Re: Can we get some D - Seahawks post game thread

I was watching on Redzone over here and didn't see the play that Forbes got ejected for. Was it that bad? I mean the kids as thin as tissue paper, I'd never expect him to get ejected for a big bit!

It was a 100% LEGAL hit. He did nothing wrong. Heads collide in the NFL. There was no crown of the helmet, no lowering of the head. It was total horsesh!t.

Not only that but you have to have two personal fouls in one game in order to get ejected.

The defense is just absolutely a train wreck. The talent just isnít there. Look at our LBs and Safeties. Curl is solid but heís not a star S, on most teams heís JAG. I certainly wouldnít pay him 10M a yr.

Throw our corners in there too. BSJ is getting abused on a weekly basis. Forbes who knows? Not good so far. Fullerís contract is up i think and he is just meh most of the time. It is a sub par unit.

Fuller has been our best CB for the last 3 years, would like him extended.

Yeah, I'd like to keep Fuller if the contract is anywhere near reasonable. He's a great locker-room guy too.

Re: Can we get some D - Seahawks post game thread

I can't get over how bad our D is. The interior D line has underperformed, the starting ends are now playing elsewhere, our LBs were always going to be a problem, Curl is playing well but overall safety play and DB play has been pretty poor. Oh, and they're lousily coached. I honestly thought at the outset of the year that our D would be the strength. It's an abomination. On track to be the worst D in our franchise's history. in year 4 of the current regime. Simply inexcusable. Look what Dan Campbell just did in Detroit in one year. It kills me.

Am I the only person that sees a blatant helmet to helmet?

Unless his abdomen is in his head that isnít a gut punch?

2 PFs are an automatic ejection, but you can be ejected for an egregious act, like shoving an official, throwing a punch etc. But that wasn't an egregious act.

Fuller has been mostly pretty solid. But I'd like to watch Punch cover McLaurin during a practice. That would be good stuff.
