He was only targeted against 5 times, 4 were catches but he only allowed 44 yards total. Not bad at all.

Dunbar had his worst day by far,

9 targets 7 Rec for 2 tds

We got lucky yesterday, but for once the breaks went our way,we'll beat the Cowboys because they are worst than we are and we're actually playing for something this time.

We got lots of breaks against Arizona and GB.

I don't like Dallas coming off that big win, feeling good, and of course the refs and the league will be hedging toward the cowfucks trying to climb back into the top of the division. I can't stand officiating as bad as that saints game... And no one reAlly gives a fuck. Gotta be the first Redskins game I voluntarily turned off in...... I dunno ever? The teams effort + the refs I couldn't stomach it any longer.

Dunbar was horrific. Maybe those 44 yards were crucial ones during the game, I just remember thinking way to make up for those turnovers Norman! Lol.

Imo good cornerbacks will get worked from time to time. The shutdown corners are really no more, the league has chosen to make the passing game less physical and develop the game around passing the ball.

When I look at Norman, Dunbar and Monerau...I think we have some serious talent there. Not worried.

I’m a little more concerned about consistent pass rush...

Re: Skins 23 Panthers 17 post game

I think the entire defense deserved a game ball, so I voted "other". Holding Carolina to 17 points was a big deal and closing out the game by forcing Carolina to turn the ball over on downs was huge.

But this was a team win. The entire team battled throughout the game and got the win.

Agreed, this secondary has talent, consistency is the issue, but that's the case for pretty much the whole team.

Solid game, I'll take the W.

About Bergstrom, maybe it's because he looked soooo terrible last year, and I was expecting worse than what we're seeing... but I didn't felt like he had such a terrible game this week.
He's not putting anybody on their back but he created some nice holes for AP. Didn't see him getting embarrassed like he got last year either...

I'll listen to Cooley's film breakdown, I'll try to find the segment about blocking, but last year it was obvious how awful Bergstrom was playing, this year it's not that obvious, and he's making some plays, I wasn't expecting as much from him.

On the first 2 series he got owned. Alex got hit on both plays due to it.

But in the run game and overall I'd say he has improved quite a lot from last year, hasn't he? Or maybe being between Scherff and Roulier helps him compared to play alongside Catalina, Clemmings and Co...

Re: Skins 23 Panthers 17 post game

Now, do I think Bergstrom is our future at center (or anywhere on the line) ? Absolutely not.

But I was among those deeply worried by the poor quality of our back up linemen, and he has not nearly played poorly enough to incapacitate our offense like I thought he would.
