Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread

I’m just hoping that I can drive down to an open TC and see how good Chase Young really is. I think it’s a 50-50 percentage about whether we’ll be able to watch training camp in person.

Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread

Who is the Draft pick that falls in the first round and who is the guy who goes higher than folks believe (based on mock drafts)

The guy who falls: QB Justin Herbert

The guy who goes higher than projected: I got 2...Tackle Andrew Thomas is a top 6 pick, CB CJ Henderson goes in the top 10

Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread

Word is we're listening to offers for #2, so if that does happen (and I still think its smoke screening) then it will shake up the early picks, especially if the Lions and Giants both trade down too. Probably pure fantasy, but what if this were to happen:

Skins trade with Phins - only partner with the quantity and quality of picks to make the trade an easier choice
Lions trade with Chargers
Giants trade with Raiders
4 QB's taken in 1st 4 picks and we still get CY and more picks

Yes teams are calling for the #2. I want to know what they're offering which hasn't been reported yet. They may interested in moving up to get Young not Tua. Still think we stay pat, but if Miami offers all 3 #1s that would be intriguing. Doubt this is what is going on honestly but would love to know.

If Miami calls and offers 5 , 18 , 26 You have to take that

I'd still want a 2nd rounder to top that offer off.

If I can trade 5 and 18 to Detroit for 3, then yes.

I would take all 3, use 5 on Simmons, Okudah or the best Tackle who ever is left, then package 26 and our 3rd to move up to 9-14 and use that pick and #18 for a WR and another top 20 player. We would end up with 3 top 18 picks and then get something, anything for TW.

or see how high the 18 and the 26 pick can get us. By the value chart, 18 = 900, and 26 = 700, and #6 is 1500. Now I know the chargers wouldn't do that trade, but potentially Arizona at 8 could do it and through in a 4th. So they have 2 1st round picks, and we could take the best OT/WR combination. Immediately strengthen our offense.

I will be happy if we take Chase, BUT if we have the opportunity to get 3 multiyear starters in the first round, I believe we have talent (that was not used) on Defense, and serious deficiencies on the offense.

Re: NFL Draft Prospects Thread

I can't see the logic of turning down 3 #1s and potential starters for 1 player.. I love CY but come on guys, he's not jesus. This team is Rebuilding, it makes sense to add picks. If the right deal is on the table you take it. This team has holes all over and 1 Player isn't patching all those holes, yes he will help and I'm glad he's there at 2 just saying it's silly to say one player over 3.

Can't wait until all this fuss over nothing is finally over. We're taking CY, that was the plan all along. Worst kept secret behind the Bengals taking Burrow.
