Re: Confirmed: Bruce Allen has been fired

I'm just worried if our damn good culture can survive this big change.

I wouldn't mind TW staying, but regardless of the front office situation, I don't want a Lane Johnson-type extension. No way

Snyder sure knows how to sweet talk us! Is he saying this because he's changed or because he just wants to keep ****ing us?

Re: Confirmed: Bruce Allen has been fired

I'll say it. I am fine bringing back Trent for another year or two to postpone finding his replacement because we have bigger issues this offseason.

Did he handle himself appropriately this year while he sat out? Obviously not. I just disagree that he totally burned all his bridges with the organization.

You guys really think he was talking shit about Bruce Allen and the training staff/medical staff without guys on the team endorsing him to do it? I guarantee you there are guys in the locker room who wanted him to do it.

The fact is Bruce Allen is now out, and the training/medical staffs are most likely going to be revamped. Those are the only obstacles for Trent to come back. I'm not gung ho on giving him a new deal though, we hold the cards in that arena. I'd play hardball on his contract since he still owes us 2 years.

Ding Dong, the Witch is Dead! Bye Bye Bruce!

I'd be ok with TW coming back. I think he's still a top LT in this league, and with the exception of his noggin, which I imagine will not be an issue next season, he should be completely healthy not having played at all this season. Getting one more year out of him would be huge given all the needs this team has.

That being said, I'm not sure he will want to come back, even with Bruce and the training staff gone. What happened to him with regard to his medical situation, still happened under Danny's watch. He may just be ready to move on from the organization. If that's the case, hopefully the new leadership gets a fair haul to help address the many remaining needs, which would then also include a LT.

So if Rivera is hired does this mean Norman stays? Apparently Norman is pretty happy about how situation is unfolding

He let Norman walk before so it's not a sure thing but what is a sure thing is Norman would play much better in new system.

Re: Confirmed: Bruce Allen has been fired

I agree on keeping TW if we can get a friendly deal, as it lets us look at an LT next season/year after. I'd like Kerrigan to stay but that's me being sentimental, and if he is losing it, then move on. And if that means taking Young as an immediate replacement...

Norman has me in a quandary. Anyone think he might make the move to FS as others have done before? I'm inclined to move on if not, or his salary can't be made more friendly.

If we take Young, and we move to a 4-3, then we really need to address both tackles (assuming we don't bring TW back) and a starting corner, plus an upgrade at FS if we can. Not sure we have the picks for all that.

I just checked with TW, he's happily agreed to a [team] friendly deal, reiterating his desire to retire a Washington Redskin.

Things Bruce did well:

- jumped on D Jax and got him signed to a reasonable deal
