Re: Around the NFL week 5

To recap what little I watched of the Rams Seahawks first half.
-Stafford threw a terrible pick in the red zone
-Aaron Donald got a 15 yd roughing penalty with less than a minute left
- Seahawks had a touchdown negated by offensive holding
- Seahawks kicker missed a very make-able FG.

I guess my point is that if that were our team, many on here would be saying it proves how awful the individual players, and the coaching is.

Around the NFL week 5

I absolutely love Baker Mayfields commercials.
Also when Myers missed that kick I decided I am going to open a place kicker camp for kids so by the time they are 20 they are automatic. Imagine just kicking fg’s from the time you are 5 until you get to HS, College, etc.
From a parents (clients) perspective you are thinking..
A) my kid doesn’t have to be a physical freak to do this. He can just stay in decent enough shape and do mainly leg workouts
B) he will be financially set, and retired at a decent age
C) I can go to the games for free

Are all of my students going to be professionals? No. But there will be a shit ton of great kickers out there who have been training their whole lives to be kickers, not soccer players who learned how to kick footballs late. Obviously I will need to find a kicker to show them the basics. But they are going to train for 20 years before they make it to the pros ill tell you that.

The Jaguars are telling Meyer he needs to shape up. The game is telling him he's 0-4 and perhaps not cut out for NFL coaching.

When I first read what he said I was thinking maybe he meant it in a loose lips sink ships sort of way which is apparently what he is saying. He uses the phrase rubber lips alot speaking of loud mouth liars. So michelen tires would certainly be synonymous with rubber lips BUT as always ya gotta really think about what you are saying. I just have a hard time imagining that he meant that in some racist way. I really do. Hope Im right.

Jags were the worst team in football last year, and they are breaking in a rookie quarterback. I will also say they have been more competitive than I thought they would be. You want to fire him for off the field shit that is different. But nobody was winning with that team this year. Nobody. Think he has actually made them seem like at the least a competitive team thus far.
They gave the Cardinals who people think may be the best team in football a serious run for their money. Could really be 2-2 at this point which is crazy. No way I am blaming him for being 0-4. Talk about a terrible situation to step into. They are definitely playing better than last year. Improving every week too.
