the Rams move into a new stadium next year. That means theyll magically win games no matter what. Theyll get free agents willing to take a pay cut.

I liked the way he played like Larry Fitzgerald treating every ball in the air like it was his and stopping at nothing to go get it. 100% effort 24-7.

If he wanted to put off retirement for the veteran's minimum (he's been around for a while so that's a good chunk of change) to be the backup left tackle, I'd bring him back with a smile on my face.
Simply put, Tackles are more important than the inside guys. The only way I would be ok in NOT resigning Schreff is unless we took his money and paid it too the best Free Agent Left tackle on the market. It comes down to position value.

Serious question:

How much better has Scherff been THIS YEAR at guard than Flowers?

That is hard to say because Flowers has Penn and Scherff has Moses. If the tackle keeps getting beat it can cause issues with the Guard. I do not think Scherff is playing at a pro bowl level. I think he is playing a little better than Flowers.

Is a guard worth paying franchise money?

I would rather pay a different position (cb, lb, T, DE 4-3, WR) frankly, and I'm a huge Scherff fan.

The reason Schreff is at right guard is because that’s the toughest assignment in the interior Oline position. He is asked to do more...for what the Skins want to do he is strategically placed there because he is by far their best interior player.

This is no homer bullshit, Schreff is a top 3 run blocking interior Olineman in the game. We need to keep him. Flowers in an extension candidate as well...I think he can get better.

My fear is this...they somehow consider Flowers as a Trent replacement

Re: Around the NFL Week 12

Scherff and Moses have been huge disappointments this year. They were supposed to be the strength of our oline. They have not been.

We're in a tough spot with BS because he is clearly a very talented RG and this could just be a down season. But can we bet 13+ million a year that this season is an outlier and not a trend.

I go back and forth all the time on keeping him. To me this will be the most important decision for the franchise over the next year.

Moses is a definite cut imo.

Some guy named David Blough whom I've never heard of is more accurate than Haskins.

Re: Around the NFL Week 12

Why is dak throwing 23 times in the first half? He’s turned the ball over twice, almost 3 times already. Dumb
