I don’t know what all y’all talking about. A linebacker poor at pass coverage sounds like a perfect fit.

Seriously. He will fit right the fuck in.

On a side note Matt Rhule seems to have turned Carolina around, and with Sam Darnold to boot. They are what a well coached, disciplined team looks like. Meanwhile we are mired in 5 year plans that seem to end up where they started.
Ya can have all the talent in the world and it doesn’t matter if they are not coached up. Im really tired of watching teams go from 0-60 in a season while we are in a perpetual building process.

Carolina looks good, but it is only week 3. Also, I doubt the Panthers or any team in that division is going to get past Tampa Bay.

And the Texans are not going to do anything with a rookie QB.

It is definitely early.
Davis Mills looking pretty good rite now. He has already had more success in two and a half quarters than Haskins ever had!

They will probably collapse against Dallas

They beat the Jets, James Winston's Saints, and the Texans on their 3rd QB. They will come back down to earth against a mediocre Dallas team next weekend.

What makes their coaching better than WFT's?

They are getting better results with less talent. That is always a tell tale sign of better coaching.

Also if we are going to play the “who they beat” game we beat Daniel Jones Giants because they jumped off sides on a fg. If a win is a win is a win for us it is for them too.

I hope to hell that our coaching staff figures things out and takes advantage of our talent asap, but right now Carolina is clearly the better team and I believe it is because of coaching. Of course losing Horn and McCaffrey might be a steep hill to climb.

Yeah if we opened up with the Jets, we'd be 2-0 right now.. Schedule is everything

Re: Around the NFL…Week 3

Sam Darnold looked good last night and he has been playing well in the last 3 games.. At this point, I will be absolutely shocked if Adam Gase gets a job in NFL. Tannehill and Darnold looked like bust under Gase and now they are playing well with different coaches.

Yep, so far Darnold looks a lot more like the QB most thought he would be coming out of College.

It's hard to argue with 3-0. You can only play who is in front of you. And if you look at Darnold's play, he's definitely playing better than he was in NY.

But it's early, and I think we've assembled a nice coaching staff here too, although I have been critical of S Turner. For the most part, especially with regard to the defense, the players just need to get on the same page. I think that will come with some time. After all there's only 18 players left (on the final 53) that were here before RR arrived. That's a lot of turnover in just over a year.

McCaffery .. are his muscles just too tight? Kinda like Brian Orakpo and his pec muscles.

max out some muscles, it seems you increase your injury chance of a tear or pop.

Re: Around the NFL…Week 3

I saw the Orakpo reference and it made me wonder about Kerrigan. Has he seen the field? He has no stats for the Eagles this year. I wish him well (except when we play them), but I wonder if he is thinking retirement.
