Didn't have a problem with either of Gruden's decisions. Remember Tampa last year? You win some, you lose some.

We finish 11-4-1. Nobody left on the schedule scares me at all. This is a damn good team.

It's possible for sure.

The 10 days off will help the team get healthy. One more game and we will get Trent Williams back.

The final game of the season will determine the wild card. If we will, we will be in.

Still can't get the over McVays direct snap to Fat Rob. I mean, what is this, amateur hour?

For some reason his brain goes to mush inside of the 10.

I don't know why we never lineup under center in the red zone. It always seems to be all shotgun, sometimes even with no running back. I hate it. I want Cousins under QB and using the run or threat of the run to create gaps in the defense. Stop being so damn cute.

To me it clearly was a penalty, QB sliding down, Whitner late and leading with his helmet... Overall, considering how bad refereeing is this season, I won't complain about the refs on this game, some missed calls but nothing game changing IMO. We made enough mistakes on our side to lose this one.

I may sound monomaniac, but I really don't see what Whitner is bringing to the table... Missed tackles, slow, gets beaten on coverage, doesn't ever break out from his blocks... I know you may say he's not the one costing us the game but I really don't see why you would play him over Ihenacho. I'm fine with Duke and Blackmon.

I'm excited to see what the defense will look like next year with another signing period and draft. Next year we win at least 10.

He's the best stopgap available, you got someone in mind that would be better? Have to wait till next years draft to DL, DE/OLB, S, ILB. This team's defense is a player or 2 away from being excellent.

Agreed on that bolded part 100% !

Still not sold on Whitner, did he make a play since we signed him? I have a hard time seeing him as our best stopgap available since he misses too many tackles for my taste

Like I said, who else is available? Whitner is slow but at least he can tackle (maybe so-so lately). That penalty if you see it in realtime, he couldn't stop and wasn't late. The hit on Reed in the endzone should have been a 15 yard penalty.

Reed is a man!!

Jordan Reed plays through shoulder injury sustained early in loss, excels against Cowboys

I tell you one thing. Ryan Grant has showed himself to be a useless fuck. He needs to go the moment the season ends.
