I'm 50/50 on getting the flu shot, last time I did (2018) I got the flu like 2 months later. I've asked several nurses/GP's on the subject and they all verified that basically there's no flu shot that covers all variations, the one they give you is the one they predict will be the biggest threat to your region. So it's good at preventing the strain of the flu they predict will hit your region, but not all strains of the flu.

Mooby, get it. It will at the minimum lessen the effects if you do get the flu, making it milder.

Re: Coronavirus (non political)

Not getting a flu shot is just dumb, especially if you work closely with the public.

Re: Coronavirus (non political)

I work with the public, never had a flu shot, and I have never had the flu. I've also unknowingly been in close contact with people who had the flu. I know the minute I get a flu shot I'll get the flu.

Re: Coronavirus (non political)

We've been studying the flu for decades, this is new and we dont even know where it started, and the way the symptoms dont show themselves till after you could have already spread it to other people,it seems pretty scary to me.
China is not being transparent and theyre some lying mofos anyway.Personally I think this thing escaped from their lab in Wuhan somehow

Re: Coronavirus (non political)

Always best to stick with what the experts are saying

What we know so far about the 2019 novel coronavirus

Where and how did COVID-19 begin?

We learned about this particular virus shortly after a cluster of severe pneumonia cases were reported on New Year’s Eve 2019 in Wuhan, which is in the Hubei Province of China. On January 9, virologists and other public health researchers identified the strain as a novel coronavirus, which was tied to a specific “wet market” in the city of Wuhan, where they sell fish and other live animals.

These markets have been known to transmit viruses before. For cultural reasons in the region, people want to see the specific animals they’re buying be slaughtered in front of them, so they know they’re receiving the products they paid for. As a result, particles of infectious viruses or bacteria can be aerosolized and, in rare instances, jump from animals to people. It’s how SARS, another coronavirus, started in 2003.

So this has happened before and yet they continue to put themselves and the others at risk? Fuck China

You won't hear a right-leaner say this very often, but the government regulation we have in place with the FDA is of critical importance to public health. China just does not give a F about such things.

agree. FDA does a lot of things right. You would think some type of quality control or basic standards would be enforced to avoid these issues.

WOW...oil just crashed
