| Offseason/Draft Questions for Tony McGee Hey guys, I know its been a while since we caught up with Tony, but we spoke a little bit today and were going to start chatting a bit more regularly now, so we'll be taking questions with thought/reaction from the draft, and really the offseason as a whole. Do we did get too many weapons on offense now, at the expense of other needs? 4. In what ways did this team improve since the end of last season? 5. How will improving the passing game impact the running game?

| Re: Offseason/Draft Questions for Tony McGee Tony, will Fred Davis have any real impact in his first year if Cooley stays healthy? The only Seattle TEs to catch a ball last year were Marcus Pollard and Will Heller, and the totals were 41 for 355 and 5 TDs. Not awful, but it doesn't exactly scream "need" for us at the position in the mid-second round given Cooley's production. Granted, Seattle's TE personnel was lacking, but did the Skins make the right pick with Davis given D-line/O-line/DB needs? I personally like the pick considering his size/hands combo and our lack of depth at the position, but I'd love to hear your take.

Do they tell him it's ok, tease him about it, or knock some sense into him with some tough love? What are your thoughts on Chad Johnson? Should the NFL reinstate Pac Man Jones? What are your thoughts on a rookie salary cap? Could you share with us your favorite barbecue recipe?

| Re: Offseason/Draft Questions for Tony McGee Hi Tony - I have a simple question for ya: Assume that the Redskins run a play with a 5 WR spread featuring Santana Moss, ARE, Chris Cooley, Malcom Kelly and Devin Thomas (I'm assuming that Fred Davis is still in his bed "sleeping in"). All 5 WR's run different patterns, but they all intersect at a point exactly 19.3 yards down the field from the line of scrimmage. Assuming that Jason Campbell delivers the ball on target (I know, this is a HUGE assumption) at the precise moment the WR's reach this intersection, WHO CATCHES THE BALL? Use each WR's height, 40 time, vertical leap, 225lb bench press and ego as variables to solve this problem. Assume it is not raining and wind is blowing 8MPH SSW and the ball is snapped at the opponent's 37 yard line. We are playing the New York Giants in this particular scenario. Bonus Question: Is a touchdown scored on this play? |

This is obviously asked to start predicting what kind of formations Jim Zorn will use as the Redskins' coach. You asked for it, here it is. Total snaps: 54 4WR-1RB: 14 times. ...
