| How do you mount your pennants? I have two pennants, one from the 70's my dad gave me and one I bought sometime in the 80's. They have been languishing in the closet and been getting a bit musty. I have plastic sleeves for them but I want something better. I'd like to mount them properly and hang them in my office. Anyone have a good example of how to display them nicely?

| Re: How do you mount your pennants? "Languish" is the strangest word. It is an active-voice verb which denotes a very passive state. Back to the question: why not velcro the pennants to colored rectangular felt backgrounds and then put the rectangles into frames as if they were pictures? The pennants would look nice and be protected.

| Re: How do you mount your pennants? I actually keep mine in the plastic top loaders. To display them I hang them point down (slightly or whatever angle fits the space). I then use a small nail on the top and bottom and let the weight of the top loader hold it into place. Doing it that way will not damage the pennant and if I want to get it signed (or add signatures) it is easy to do. fyi - if you ever get one signed use a paint pen and not a sharpie. Over time the sharpie will fade into the fabric like it was never signed. |
