The Bad News: This new colleague seems to have a bit of a flatulence problem
Oh no, this is a great thing! Think of all the possibilities. He (or she) could fart out the National Anthem before each and every workday. Does this colleague try to cough each time a fart sneaks out as to hide the noise? Like Peter Griffin from Family Guy?

SS, if you need a small spray you can use discretely I'd recomend this stuff called Blunt Effects. You can find it usually at any convinence store. It will kill the smell if your having that problem.

I used to sit near an underwriter who would grip and rip all day. Really pissed me the hell off, just get up and fart in the breakroom or bathroom like everyone else.

Double root canal. Oh joy.

Let's see -

Car engine going up, tenant issues, contractor out of town, covering another attorney's caseload and now this.

Yup. These last few weeks have pretty much defined the phrase "craptacular." Hoping it turns around soon but not counting on it.

Isnt it though. A splinter under the nail is awful. That is strait up torture. Lol. Six shots in the finger to numb it too.

Put your finger under a sewing machine's needle would be my guess.

Bingo. Lol.
Was teaching a class, when a kid asked a question. Took her eyes off the prize for one second.

To be honest, that was my wife's guess. She took one look at it and went "How do you get a sewing machine needle through your finger?"

Re: The Bad News Thread

I wasnt here when it happened, and my wife is an art teacher and extremely crafty. She was not only teaching them how to use the machine, but how to use it safely. Lol. It was a hand feeding machine and she looked away. The worst part was it took six needles to numb her finger and than they pulled it out so easily. There was no need for the shots.

Can she in good conscience fail any of them now?!

Man that looks painful! I had a huge splinter in my finger a few weeks ago and couldn’t get it out so after a few days and it swelling up I sucked up my pride and went to the Dr.
That feels like nothing now after seeing this. Props to your wife by the look of that pic she must be one tough cookie. :food-smil
