Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
I think Briscoe & Armstrong make it, leaving out Banks, Robinson, & the rest. Banks is just too erratic.

I'm honestly pretty nervous for Briscoe. Not sure he makes it. Even he didn't seem very confident he'd make it. |
I'll defer to Smootsmack. He seems to have the inside scoop on all the cuts.
I wish. But I'll try QB: RG3, Grossman, Cousins (3) RB: Hightower, Royster, Morris, Helu (stunned me and many others last night) (4) WR: Garcon, Hankerson, Moss, Morgan, Briscoe, Robinson (Armstrong makes it difficult but Robinson is younger with more upside) (6) FB: Darrel Young (1) TE: Fred Davis, Niles Paul, Logan Paulsen (3) OL: Trent Williams, Kory Lichtensteiger, Will Montgomery, Chris Chester, Tyler Polumbus, Josh LeRibeus, Maurice Hurt, Jordan Black, Someone not currently on the roster (9) K: Billy Cundiff (1) DL: Stephen Bowen, Barry Cofield, Adam Carriker, Chris Baker, Doug Worthington, Jarvis Jenkins, Someone not currently on the roster (7) LB: Ryan Kerrigan, London Fletcher, Brian Orakpo, Perry Riley, Keenan Robinson, Chris Wilson, Bryan Kehl (7) CB: Josh Wilson, Cedric Griffin, DeAngelo Hall, Richard Crawford, Brandyn Thompson, David Jones (7) S: Tanard Jackson, Brandon Meriweather, Reed Doughty, DeJon Gomes (4) LS: Nick Sundberg (1) |

Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
I think Kehl wins his spot over K Robinson. K Robinson to the PS
Banks over A. Robinson. A Robinson to the PS, AA and TA cut. Briscoe is a lock as mention. Gomes over Reed and Berstine. Berstine to the PS, Reed cut Helu, Royster and Alfmo make the RB. Hightower is a maybe. Wilson and Jackson in. Markus White cut, but he will play elsewhere this season. Willie Smth over Black, Compton is in. Gettis to PS. I seriously think a cut FA will come in soon and Smith will be back on the PS. Both Brandon Thompson and Crawford make it at CB. I think cut cornerbacks will get a close look as well. Could cut C Griff and bring in another vet. Other Practice Squad: Dorson Boyce, Delvin Johnson, Tristan Davis |

you have them cutting jackson? |
Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
Quite a few guys could be in trouble depending on cuts elsewhere, I definately could see C Griffin cut(why hes on roster is beyond me), really any of 2nd year + OL backups except Polumbus.

I noticed that also, hmmm |

Despite the fact that he doesn't play teams? It seems like they intentionally held him out of ST all preseason. That can't be a good sign -- especially with Armstrong being a gunner and having a strong final game (albeit against 2nd, 3rd, and 4th teamers). |
Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
Whoops. Should have Alexander in there. Drop the DL to be named later for Alexander
And yeah Jackson is my "shock cut" Not based on any inside info at all. |

If Armstrong makes this team, it won't be at Briscoe's expense. In my opinion |

I'd hope for Bernstein over Doughty at backup safety. Jackson seems more versatile than Wilson who is a one trick pony to me. Other than that I would concur with the balance of the roster. |

Jones is a guy I know the coaching staff, particularly Danny Smith likes. He's borderline but I think he makes it. I was torn between Thompson or Jones. So I kept both. I think Bernstine goes to the PS. Jackson is my stunner |
Re: 2012 53 man Roster predictions
Jackson definitely would be a stunner. He's had a great camp from everything I've seen. Could we possibly trade him? Some were thinking that because this is his contract year, we might get some value out of him due to the fact that he will probably test to market anyway.
