Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Watson has completed one year of a four-year, $156 million deal. He has a $10.5 million base salary 2021, $35 million in 2022 and $20 million in 2023.
Yikes.
2021 is a HUGE steal for someone. 2022 is the normal salary for a top 5 QB |
Another name to watch as a trade target is Teddy Bridgewater, Hurney signed him last yr and he has that Scott Turner connection.
I'm not a huge fan but it's a good backup plan to have
Yeah, he's in like the Mariota level of preference. I wouldn't love it but I'd be OK with it. We need to add someone to the mix at QB somehow. |
Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
If we do go after him, I say we should include Landon Collins in the deal. Excessive cap number and Curl took his job.
We can't bench Curl now. Get Landon off the books. |

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Nobody on this planet wants Collins now.. Dude is burnt toast

BBQ Chicken is my official name for him now. |
Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
You guys do know that Travinski is a free agent?? he says he wants to stay with da Bears but they haven't said it yet, I'd take him over an old Ryan or Stafford...Dak Prescott??? he's overrated in my book, and don't look past the kid from NY-Darnold, sometimes a change in scenery and some good coaching can work wonders...remember Ryan Tannihill in Miami?we need a young QB who can grow not another used car!!!

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Travinski?
If you mean Trabisky, yeah no thanks. No way anyone would take him over Stafford, come on now. |

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
Mitch Trubisky has offered a reward to find 2 guys by the name of Travinsky and Trabisky, passing themselves off as the Bears QB.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
New #Lions GM Brad Holmes on Matthew Stafford: "It is my job to evaluate the entire roster, and through that process, I have not had any conversations with any player, so I just want to be fair to that process. But obviously, Matt is a very good football player."
Anytime a GM says these words it makes you think he's open to dealing |
