I'd urge everybody to listen to the segment from 50:30 of [URL="https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/episode-383-commanders-activate-logan-thomas-insight/id1553345193?i=1000577038467"]this episode[/URL] of Al Galdi's pod.

He has a lawyer and former US Ambassador break out the possibilities of where we stand after Dan's Congress hearing, which took place on [I][U]July 28th and lasted 11 hours[/U][/I] and which we have heard [I][U]absolutely nothing[/U][/I] about.
Basically he's saying if it was a clear cut win for Snyder he would have been seen in camp, and probably would have issued a boasting statement, but we have no clue where he is... And if it was a clear cut W for Congress, leaks would have been made, but we heard absolutely nothing.

There's the possibility that no side felt like they scored a home run and both parties agree to not say anything about it... Or Congress could be waiting for Snyder to return to the US to subpoena his ass... All we can do is wait and see, but interesting insight.

Probably the most impressive on that list is the Eagles...all the other teams at the top had/have great QBs...other than maybe the Ravens.

It is given how much they are hyped each year. Also, one of those 3 wins is that game they played against the Lions in 2015, were the refs missed a whole bunch of calls, especially a blatant pass interference that was not called against the Cowpukes that basically gave the game to Dallas..

I have to wonder if the other owners look at Washington and Dallas and think, "its been great for our teams that they've been suffering under their current ownership, but they're starting to drag the league down with them. Maybe its time we put the league first and push Snyder out." It would then put Jones on notice seeing as he's all but cut from the same cloth.

Our problems start and end with Snyder. He can't attract great coaches (they learn how not to do it here, then leave), that in turn means we can't attract top FAs, we have poor talent guys so we miss on more picks than we hit on, and as said elsewhere, there's no energy for the players to feed off. The only way we have a chance to get back to being one of the best franchises its if Snyder sells.

They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Well that's Snyder, and he isn't going to change.

Somebody on Twitter made a great point - having Washington be a perpetually shitty team means one less top team their squads have to compete against. You think the other NFCE owners want Snyder gone? It's probably why it's so hard to get 24 votes.

Even if DS is forced out the new owner isn't going to turn around this garbage organization in a few years if ever. I think the sad truth is that this organization could be beyond repair and the Super Bowl days are gone forever.

Any franchise or program (collegiately and high school) can end up on the right path or be revitalized with the "right" person or persons in place.

You'd be surprised how this ship could be turned around if an owner worth his salt came aboard.

Detroit and Cleveland are still waiting to right the ship. I'm not saying the ship cant be righted but it wont happen in 5 years. It used to be that this organization won the offseason and off the field but that doesn't happen anymore either. This is the worst organization at any level of any sport.

If Howell can play and the OLine is fixed, the turnaround can be quick. Teams turn around all the time. Doesn't take 5 years if done properly. Of course Snyder has never done anything properly in his life.

A new owner will turn things around but IMO it wont be as fast a people think. This organization is pretty much totaled. Its more than fixing the players and coaches. It attitude, expectation, and getting the fans back. Not a quick fix.

Your belief in it not being a "quick fix" is subjective and sounds more like an emotional (frustrated) response more than anything else. None of us has any idea whether it'd be a quick, moderate, or long-term fix if we one day have a new owner.

I've watched and have been a part of sports for many, many years and know things can rapidly change with the "right" people at the helm.

I literally haven't missed a game in over two decades unless I was deployed or overseas where I couldn't subscribe to NFL Sunday Ticket, but I am not sure I can watch anymore. I'll probably set the games to record, and if I hear they lucked into a win, maybe I'll watch it after the family goes to bed.

I appreciate the Commanders making their lawyer available for an on-record intvw. My 2 takeaways
1) Dan is not selling.
2) The Congressional report is coming and they wanted to be ahead of it. That doesnt mean theyre nervous about the report, but it doesnt not mean it either.

I read the most of the article (it's too long and I don't want to waste any more of my time on Snyder news), but if the article is correct about Snyder having dirt on the owners then I don't see how it is possible for anyone to force Snyder to sell the team.
