Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
It wouldn't surprise me if Wentz is out a couple of extra weeks on Dans orders just to ensure that Indy doesn't get that 2nd rounder, Snyder is that petty as previous reporting (milk under seat) has indicated.
It would not surprise me if Irsay has been designated the unofficial spokesman for some owners, because he's already a flawed character, and probably wouldn't be concerned about what Snyder may or may not have on him. I think if/when Snyder goes down swinging, he'd go after the some of the more outward wholesome type owners like the Maras or Rooneys.
Hate to say it but if Snyder goes after the other Owners he is done. If he was smart he would listen to Irsay and sell the team and take the money and run. Snyder has all ready said he has no dirt on anyone so now if all of a sudden he does then he is done. Washington being clean now doesn't clear Snyder of how it was under his Ownership. |

i know! He was my second least favorite owner until yesterday! HAHAHA |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
Everyone hated Irsay when he crapped all over Wentz. Now we love him cause he craps all over Snyder? lol.
I'd feel better about this if it came from an owner w/ a better reputation. But he said it cause other owners are thinking the same thing. |

I was shitting all over him when he was shitting on Wentz after the fact. But he's been right - Wentz looked good in week 1 and hasn't since. Now I'm glad we have an excuse to sit him for the rest of the season. And it takes balls to put your name on that quote - he did that knowing Snyder is gonna go after him but obviously all of his demons are public already. It had to be someone who also has nothing to lose - I'm guessing Irsay was chosen by the other owners who want Snyder out. |

I'm guessing they get a 2nd from us if he starts a number of games? If thats the case sit his ass and save the 2nd pick. That would be a smart move. |

70% of snaps is the magic number. Sitting him for half the season would save us a higher pick. |

A good read. Hopefully the NFL owners are "grin fucking" Snyder right out of the league.

I just saw a post that for the celebration of the team's former greats, they misspelled Mark Moseley's last name. Seriously, WTF? This franchise never ceases to find new and inventive ways to soil itself.

We have a saying in our building. Take care of the small things and the big things won't become an issue. This franchise does not take care of the small things. |

More of that needs to happen. Art Monk was probably my favorite all-time player, and it bothers me to see him, and really all the alumni, participating in these events after what has transpired over the last couple decades. I think I saw a short clip with Art Monk, Gary Sanders, and Ricky Sanders, and Gary and Ricky basically said they were there because Art told them to come. Now, I know most people took that in jest, thinking they were just having fun, but I wonder how many of these former players actually do participate because they are just falling in line with other former greats. The greats should just give DS the big F.U. like Cooley did - and stop coming. Period. Frankly I don't understand why they are willing to associate themselves with this franchise at this point. They have been mostly disrespected despite their contributions... |

Personally I'm not blaming them even if it's for other, more ego related, reasons. They put their body and health on the line for this business, they're allowed to appreciate being honored in someway or another, even by/for this shitty owner that they didn't chose more than we did. But it sure would be a huge communication swift if all our former stars said they didn't want anything to do with this organisation and this man ever again... |

Yeah, that is probably very true. I wasn't really thinking about that angle really. Well, maybe they can have their annual get-together somewhere else, on the same weekend. |

Washington Commanders owner Daniel Snyder "permitted and participated" in the team's longtime toxic work culture and obstructed a 14-month congressional inquiry by dodging a subpoena, working to dissuade and intimidate witnesses from cooperating and claiming more than 100 times in testimony that he could not recall answers to basic questions, according to the final report of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Oversight and Reform.

I don’t believe either Allen or Snyder, why would Trent Williams have said this back in 2019: Washington parted ways with everyone that frustrated Williams in the first place. He told reporters that he has a “ton of respect” for team owner Dan Snyder and that he “personally loved” recently fired coach Jay Gruden. His anger instead fell on the medical staff and team president Bruce Allen. Washington fired Allen and the head trainer a day after the end of the regular season. With a reshaped front office and medical staff, the path was cleared for a reunion. Building a relationship with Rivera and his hires seemed to be the only thing left before a Williams return. That deteriorated, though. |

Interested parties who have tried to move the potential sale foreword are reportedly experiencing resistance. I wonder if Dan might have changed his mind on selling and has now decided to go down with the ship, expose the NFL, and basically go the nuclear option when they attempt to force him out. Just playing devil's advocate here. It sure is quiet on the "sell" front, especially after yet another damning report has came out. At this point I think we are all kind of numb to all of the bad news that comes out against Dan. The Mary Jo White investigation, if it is ever released, I'm sure would have had the recommendation to have Dan removed as the owner. But would it be enough??? |
