https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/12/10/source-momentum-could-be-growing-to-push-daniel-snyder-out-if-he-doesnt-sell/
Interested parties who have tried to move the potential sale foreword are reportedly experiencing resistance. I wonder if Dan might have changed his mind on selling and has now decided to go down with the ship, expose the NFL, and basically go the nuclear option when they attempt to force him out. Just playing devil's advocate here. It sure is quiet on the "sell" front, especially after yet another damning report has came out. At this point I think we are all kind of numb to all of the bad news that comes out against Dan. The Mary Jo White investigation, if it is ever released, I'm sure would have had the recommendation to have Dan removed as the owner. But would it be enough???
Dan Snyder is a loser. And he likes being a loser. Hard to predict what a loser will do, especially a rich one. Sadly, I don't see any way where he still doesn't walk away with billions. Happily, I'd bet my last penny on it he is a miserable human being regardless of how much money he has. |

Report: 'No Objective Indication' Dan Snyder Is Moving Forward with Commanders Sale

Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
This appears to be the latest
Bank hired by Daniel Snyder moves forward on sale process for Commanders IRVING, Tex. — The investment bank hired by Washington Commanders owner Daniel Snyder is moving forward with the process for him to consider offers to purchase all or part of his franchise. Bank of America is poised to send what amounts to a prospectus for the team to qualified potential buyers who agree to the confidentiality provisions, according to two people with knowledge of the process. While those materials likely will not specify whether Snyder intends to sell the entire franchise or a portion of it, four people familiar with the process said they believe a full sale is the most likely outcome. All spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the level of secrecy surrounding the deliberations. One person expressed the belief that it no longer is feasible for Snyder to inform fellow NFL owners that he plans to keep control of the team and sell only a minority share. Any sale, whether it involves the entire team or a portion of it, must be approved by at least three-quarters of the other NFL team owners. |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
No way the owners approve a minority stake sale.

And I'm pretty sure no one is going to bid for partial ownership knowing this. |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
It be the greatest day ever I f he sold it and we won the Super Bowl next year
How awkward would it be if we won it this year and Roger handing him the trophy |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
I am genuinely nervous of anything that might make him change his mind about selling, even those totally justifiable hearings and investigations. The team doing well in the playoffs, let alone winning the superbowl, is I think one of those things. This is what his ownership has done to me, I am not sure if I want the team to make a deep run in the playoffs before the sale is done.

I am thinking this way too. I know I am a negative guy in general, but I've had at least a few people mention this very subject. Even making "just" a playoff appearance might be enough for Dan to think that he has finally figured out the issues and now he has perennial contenders.... I so hope that I am wrong. |

If he refuses to sell the owners will move to push him out.

Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
… If the Commanders get in the playoffs and get lucky and end up in the Big game damn straight I’m hoping we win it .. I don’t give a rats ass about Snyder or any other owner .. in fact it would be irony that the team becomes successful once sell talks started !

Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
looking forward to getting my investment prospectus from BOA anyday. I'll let you guys know if I'll be starting a go fund me to purchase the team.

LOL, nice. I hope to buy in for .000001%. |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
Per A.J. Perez of Front Office Sports, there is a "growing sense" among some owners that Snyder will sell at least a controlling stake in the Commanders. "It certainly looks that way," one team owner told Perez.

First round bids due at end of week. Sounds like one potential bidder is out:

Anything that happens on the field is gravy, all I care about is the sale of the team. There needs to be a parade in DC when it happens.

"Embattled owner Daniel Snyder has received bids for the Washington Commanders 'well north' of $7 billion, according to people familiar with the process." |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
Bids, plural..... trying not to get too excited but this really feels like it may happen

Al Galdi
@AlGaldi Forbes report that Dan Snyder has received bids for #Commanders "well north" of $7 billion ...speaks to how much the team is viewed as a sleeping giant. ...indicates selling only a minority stake isn't much of an option. ...is further reason to believe Dan is on his way out. |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
The team, market, division, etc. is so valuable, not even Snyder could fuck that up.
Doesn't even include the new owner probably getting a new stadium. |
Re: Snyder (the absolute worst owner in all of sports) to stay on a owner
The only thing Snyder has done right was to bring Gibbs out of retirement.....the firings of Norv and Marty should not have happened.......the hiring of Spurrier, Zorn, Shanahan, and Gruden should have never happened either.......and while he did fire Bruce Allen one can argue that Allen was riding on the coattails of his father and should have never been hired

You got that right. Sale headline: "POS NFL Owner Paid $7B to Go Away" |

Great summary of Snyder's ownership. This is the product they produce on and off the field.

Sale headline: "POS NFL Owner Paid $7B to Go Away"
'bout sums it up. Guessing it will be closer to 8 or 9 billion. I'm happy just to be getting rid of Snyder, but if a new owner comes in and announces a new stadium/staff/etc. I can only imagine how astronomical the prices are going to be. They're going to price every middle class fan like me out of attending a game. |

I am enjoying all the Twitter rumors about Dan hiring movers, spending lots of time in the UK recently, etc. Hopefully we hear something by a week after the Super Bowl.
