Re: Redskins schedule to be released at 7 p.m.
What weekend does this season start? Anyone know? I am already getting hit with family obligations. Seriously I ask for 17 Sundays a year to enjoy football and everyone and their mother has to book some family outing during on those days, so annoying!

Redskins 2010 regular season schedule Channel 4's Dan Hellie has obtained a copy of the Redskins' 2010 regular season schedule. The Redskins will open the season at home against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football on Sept. 12 and play two additional prime-time games -- a Sunday night game at FedEx Field against the Colts in Week 6 and a Monday Night Football game at home against the Eagles in Week 10. According to a Tweet from Hellie, the Redskins play eight games before the bye week: Dallas at home, Houston at home, at St. Louis, at Philadelphia, Green Bay at home, Indianapolis at home, at Chicago, at Detroit. After the bye, they play the Eagles at home, at Tennessee, Minnesota at home, at the Giants, Tampa Bay at home, at the Cowboys, at Jacksonville, and then conclude the season against the Giants at FedEx Field. The NFL is scheduled to release the entire 2010 schedule at 7 p.m. Coach Mike Shanahan is slated to talk about it on ESPN2 at 7:15 p.m. |

For the life of me, I don't understand why a 4-12 team has so many goddamn prime time games.

Let's hope we look better in prime time than last year's national embarrassment. |
Re: Redskins schedule to be released at 7 p.m.
^ Yeah, that's one of the things I don't like about them -- we usually look like crap.
That and the fact that I'm guaranteed not to get any sleep those nights. Plus I hate waiting all day for the Sunday night games, or all weekend for Monday nights. F primetime games. |
Re: Redskins schedule to be released at 7 p.m.
Seeing some of the top offenses on the schedule makes a pick like -Berry,McClain,Graham or Haden even more of a need imo.

Its because you pussy foot around and let them think that its Ok to plan stuff durn the game. Its so easy to tell them just pull up the skins schedule and you can plan things around that. The last thing that my family planned durn a Skins game was my grandfathers funeral which of course that a different story. So if they are smart they will use the weekends of primetime games and the bye weekend to plan family events. Its not that hard and if someone tries to plan something I tell them I have obligations that day and I've had them planned for 5 months. I actually pissed off my mother and father in law once because they came over unannounced and got offended because I was in the middle of watching a football game. When I approached him latter he said they felt like I ignored them so I responded like this. Sorry if you felt that way but next time I will cut off the game after I have been watching it for 2 1/2 hours so we can chat. He then realized how stupid he sounded. |
Re: Redskins schedule to be released at 7 p.m.
It looks like the 1st half of the season is easier then the 2nd half. If the team can go 5-3 before the break, we can have some genuine optimism for the remainder of the year.
We have a tougher home schedule then away this year, which is also good. Time to establish a Home field advantage. 5-3 at home should get us into the playoffs, I hope. |
Re: Redskins schedule to be released at 7 p.m.
We should be 6-2 at home. We need to leaarn how to win at Fed-Ex. I beleive shanny will get it done. One thing I always notice at home games:
When the away team takes the field after the half many times they score. I blame it on us not being in our seats screaming for the D. We have to do our parts as well. |

Couldn't have had it any easier than we did for the first 8 games last year |
