LMFAO. When I saw "santa" I was about to post the same thing. Hilarious. |
Re: Clutch and Execution Problems
Again, the problem is the loser mentality of the current players..Lets rebuild with winners...How many drop passes do we have to continue to see before we decide SM is killing us?

Re: Clutch and Execution Problems
Moss had a bad game today but I would hardly characterize him a loser. More often than not he's been clutch for us

Agree to disagree... We need a leader... Someone who can make big plays in big games... SM is a #2 receiver at best on any other team... |

No, it wasn't thrown late either. |

Actually, coming into yesterday's game, the Redskins led the league in fewest dropped passes. |
Re: Clutch and Execution Problems
Williams was bearing down on him so he couldn't fully step into the throw, that's what it came down to.
It all goes back to Rabach. Why they would let him play injured against the Williams wall is beyond me.
Can I join this choir?!?! Man it was brutal watching Rabach get steamrolled again and again. One play Rabach literally snapped the ball then was already chasing the guy he was supposed to block who was barrelling down on McNabb. We cut Galloway, now can we bench or IR Rabach? Might be harder to bench him since he became a captain, but some coach needs to step up and sit him down. |

Actually I know what it is, playoffs teams make that play and others make excuses. My expectations is improvement on the offense. Havent seen it, dont care we down to a couple RB, we have been able to run the ball with K Williams several occasions. Minnesota loses its head coach our game week and the team has been in disary most of the season. Lotta people on here expecting a win and a decisive one at that. This was a game we shoulda and had to have. Im generally not satisfied with no progress, limited improvement on the offense. The thing that really pisses me off is the fact this year the NFC is up for grabs, not alot of dominace from anybody, if we could get just half our sh*t together we could be in it. Im just kinda tired on giving passes out after yesterday. Minnesota defensive is far from good. If you look at the game its not just that play or another...its been a litany of errors. |

That's what we need, to make SM our #2 receiver. But, of course, to do that we need someone else who is a #1. Maybe Devin Thomas will step up...oh wait. |

I would agree that SM is a #2 receiver, but I don't see that as validation of a loser mentality. Moss isn't who he used to be, but on our current receiving corps, he is as consistent as we have. That isn't saying much tho'. Armstrong made the big sliding catch, but didn't get his head right back in the game either. He missed the next pass, a much easier grab. Right now this team is taking baby steps. This is what a rebuilding team looks like, even if it's not billed as such. We dropped 10 starters before FA We have a new RB committee We have 3 out of 5 WR's changed from last year. Oh yeah a new QB We have a new defensive alignment (right or wrong we do, and thus it is part of a rebuilding year. For those who are going to scream "BUT WE HAVE 4-3 PERSONNEL", yes but if the new coach accepted a rebuilding phase then you might as well start the defensive change now. Or would you rather get the offense going, and switch up at that point and have the offense pulled down by the defense. This team is growing up together, and hopefully next year, with some new youngbloods and some veterans that know the system we will be better on both sides of the ball.) Let's also not forget in this game, we were: missing a starting CB, a starting safety (and leading tackler I believe). (wish we had been missing our starting center :( ) 5-6 with 5 games to go. Realistically, the Skins are better than last year (playing a much harder schedule) and not as good as us fans want them to be. |
