Re: Idiots at the Skins vs. Vikings Game
This is a big part of why I don't waste my time/money going to games. Besides, HD tv and the RedZone channel make the NFL so much more fun on television.
As a season ticket holder by far the most fights I see are between Redskins fans and.... other Redskins fans.
Well if you are at FedEx the amount of Redskins fans to opposing team fans ratio lends this to be true. If you are drunk and want to fight most likely the closet folks to you are skins fans. It is the same at all stadiums. If you want a fun filled family sporting outing in this country anymore take your family to a minor league baseball game. I go to about 10 a year everyone in the family has a great time. Never see a fight, rarely hear a swear, always something fun going on between innings and the price plus everything that goes a long with it for 10 games cost half of going to one NFL game. |

Personally I think shit like this is stupid and ruins it for families that want to take their kids to the game. The Redskins are not a nation and the Cowboys are not terrorists, they are just teams that you root for for a couple hours o na Sunday afternoon. Win or lose the Redskins have zero impact on my life, so why would I beat someone up over them? but the rowdy violent nature that some drunk male fans display is a product of the NFL marketing imo.-OTM I also agree with this. Lets feed you alcohol for six hours and then entertain you with a violent sport. "Oh look they have turned on themselves, shocking!"
Yep when ppl get drunk they act like they can whoop anyone's ass.. Sad that kids actually have to sit there and see that shit. |

Plus traffic and parking.. I love watching the games at my house, I'm 5 mins away from Owen Field here in Norman and I hardly ever go to games |
Re: Idiots at the Skins vs. Vikings Game
I'll tell you one thing, if I'm at a Skins game and one of those drunk ass morons ran into my wife, someone call a bail bondsman because I'm beating someone down. WTF. These people are so stupid.
Like SS said, these are farm from the sharpest knives in drawer. |

Honestly though, college games really are a different experience. When I lived in Gainesville, most of the time I was walking distance from the Swamp. The wife (then my girlfriend) and I would get up on gamedays, make breakfast, and walk downtown to meet some friends at a tailgate, then just stroll into the stadium. It's right in the heart of downtown, and so easy to deal with. I guess it's different in small towns. Plus they don't sell booze in the games, which really helps as far as morons in the stands. FedEx field is such a stupid, overpriced, clusterf*ck of an experience. I could care less if I never go to another game there. |

Re: Idiots at the Skins vs. Vikings Game
