Actually, it's a pretty good article, because in a week where there's no skins news, this jerk has us discussing his stuff. Talk about journalists creating the news! :vomit-smi

This is how rumors get started...

TheMalcolmConnection 01-20-2005 12:58 PM

And about how we all start flipping out! Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar!!!!

SKINSnCANES 01-20-2005 01:04 PM

wtf, we might as well give them coles, washington, griffin, ramsey, cooley too. Why not ya know. I would be hesitant to give up the 9th pick and a second next year alone, much less a probowl linebacker. Our defense was solid but lavar definitly makes a difference when he is in there.

TheMalcolmConnection 01-20-2005 01:15 PM

Continuity, Continuity, Continuity, Continuity, Continuity, Continuity....

That's all I ask.

redsk1 01-20-2005 01:27 PM

Lavar Arrington has more love for DC and the skins fans than any player since Darrell Green. This guy will do whatever it takes to win. So why the writers are on this guy, and want to trade him, i don't know. He got hurt this year, bottom line. I don't want to get rid of Lavar b/c he was hurt for year.

bedlamVR 01-20-2005 02:02 PM

I think it is a little more significant than idle fan chat room banter this guy supposedly gets paid for his insight ....

FRPLG 01-20-2005 02:07 PM

This is an idiot-ass article that pisses me off.

TheMalcolmConnection 01-20-2005 02:08 PM

Amen... just perpetuating a rumor that most of us didn't want to hear in the first place.

Yeah, but what this guy is saying is just plain stupid. Does anyone realize how bad the cap hit would be if we traded Lavar and/or cut Brunell?

Oh, but come on man, just the addition of Moss would put us in the Super Bowl!!:joke:

CrazyCanuck 01-20-2005 02:21 PM
Wait a minute, so we can deal with Arrington's cap hit by releasing Brunell and taking on another big cap hit? Huh?

The deal outlined in this article is absurd.
My thoughts exactly.

Just one Superbowl? Would we ever not go to the superbowl with Moss and ermmm errrr... We would keed Ade though right...:) :smashfrea

diehardskin2982 01-20-2005 05:39 PM

I don't care what all the rest of you guys may be thinking but moss would be an awesome pickup and the skins would be deffinite playoff contenders, but I'd keep our first round and draft the best linebacker Shawne Merriman or TE heath miller.

Daseal 01-20-2005 05:41 PM

Trade me? I'm the emotional leader. I wouldn't touch that trade with a 10 foot pole. If they're really shopping him and don't expect a franchise player in return, just two firsts and maybe a guy that's gone anyways (a situation similar to champ next year) then I'd look to see if we could fit him in, but Sean Taylor, Arrington, and two first rounders? Please.

diehardskin2982 01-20-2005 05:46 PM

i dont't like the idea of giving up lavar but u know minnesota would want something rediculious, sean taylor and lavar would just be plain stupid. our defense would be as swiss as the chiefs d.
