Re: Old games available
If your gonna buy a game, you'll get your moneys worth with this one. Skins loss but one of the most physical games I ever saw, an absolute banger.

Re: Old games available
Gibbs, Petibone masterpiece. Loved this game skins had no chance 2 game losing streak I think, limping in underdogs, injuries all over the defense. The way Gibbs handled Gary Clark... Man I miss my teens. One of the many reasons I became a DC. Enjoy if your an old HTTR.

Impressive .... especially considering that Gibbs did that with 3 different QB's while Noll (Bradshaw) and Lombardi (Starr) did it with 1 QB. I think this is true. Probably worth a fact check. |
Re: Old games available
Boys and D-rave have I been looking for this one, and it just happened to pop up. One of many finest hours during the 1st Gibbs administration. The yard mowing took a back seat for a few hours while I reminisced on this one. Some rank this as one of the greatest upsets of all time. After watching, it wasn't even that close. If there was ever a game where someone got out coached it was this one. I miss younger my days enjoy.

Re: Old games available
Not sure if a lot of you are old enough to remember, but there is one game that I will never ever forget. It has to be somewhere on video. It was the last scab game where Dallas had almost half their team and we didn't have anyone. Not one guy from the Redskins crossed the picket line. The game was at Dallas and I think we won 13-7. Ed Rubbert got hurt and Tony Robinson can in and Gibbs had him running option plays. He was actually out of jail on work release... lol. Watching those scab players pick up Gibbs up and carry him off the field was one of the most memorable games. Can not believe that that was almost 34 years ago. What a season that was and glad those guys finally got their rings. It was one of the few good things Dan and Bruce got right.
