I just started watching GOT last week and I'm halfway through Season 2. I'm a little obsessed.

Man if someone is looking for a show with some redemption and sweet vengeance, this is NOT it. Poor House of Stark.

It's far better reading the books. At the end of almost every chapter you're like "WTF!".

Not the best writer but a good story teller. Similar repetitive/formulaic prose as Terry Pratchett, who I also like.
