Re: F... gas prices
The closest places to my house are Wawa at $2.79 and Exxon at $2.85. Yes, this summer is going to blow if this pace keeps up.

Alot of that $5.25 is actually taxes to pay for all their social programs so thats not really a fair comparison. |
Re: F... gas prices
Record cold leading to more heating oil being used? Only thing that I can think of...

Re: F... gas prices
My boat has a 160 gallon fule tank which to fill up would cost me around $430. I only fill up the boat when I'm going to keep it in the water and the cost of gas at a marina is about 50 cents more per gallon. Filling it up to just run around the river some does not make sense because each extra gallon weighs about 8 pounds of extra weight.

Re: F... gas prices
Gas went up 40 cents in the last week around here.

Have you ever tried carrying around a gallon of milk? It is not light. |

I am not sure but I think gas weighs a bit less then water, since water is the most dense thing on earth. |

I looked it up myself and found it weighs 6 1/2 pounds. Still if I only fill the tank up 1/2 way which is more then I'll use on a good weekend I'm cutting out 520 pounds of extra weight (6.5 x 80 = 520). Its the little things I do for the enviroment. |
Re: F... gas prices
I thought Bush & Chenney drove up the gas prices because they were big oil guys. So why is gas now at $3.00?

Re: F... gas prices
A couple weeks ago I was paying 3 bucks for a gallon of gas. Stopped at my local gas station yesterday as me and co. were leaving for the Skins game and noticed it was 3.30. WTF?
