Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
I am fine with the pick. WR has been a spot we have been terrible at. I would assume it is safe to say they are anticipating no Moss and no Kelly next year. Hankerson and Paul have good size to them.

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Did anyone not see that Cam Newton has to learn a 900 page playbook? Lol. No wonder Al Saunders failed. His playbook was to small.
We needed WR depth. I have no problem with this pick. Plus the guy is a willing blocker with good hands. What's the problem?
I like him and like the pick but Jenkins is only about 300lbs and I'd prefer to have a NT who is closer to 330. Powe is there. Then there is the fact Rahbach sucks and should be replaced unless they plan to use whoever played after Rahbach went out during the Titans game cause he played 10x better. Then there's the fact most of our RT's are better off playing Guards and Brown was injured last yr. Do we want to put all our eggs on Brown staying healthy this yr when he couldn't last yr? I have no problem with them not selecting a QB. Maybe next year we can throw a couple of picks in to move up and take the #2 or #3 on the board. |

I like this pick to. Our WR core was HORRIBLE last year. |

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
B/c obviously the people making real decisions didn't like him as much as the people in their living rooms on a message board. lol

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Overview
Some scouts felt Paul could be the next first-round receiver coming from the Big 12 conference (Dez Bryant, Michael Crabtree, Jeremy Maclin) because of the all-purpose game he showed in 2009. He produced fairly well for the Huskers in their run-oriented offense as a senior (second-team All-Big 12 despite missing two games with a broken foot; 39 receptions for 516 yards and a touchdown, 14 punt returns for 160 yards and 19 kick returns for 464 yards and a touchdown), but big drops and inconsistency haven't convinced teams Paul will be a difference-maker at the next level. Paul flashes strength and explosiveness with the ball as a receiver, runner and returner, somewhat reminiscent of 2010 first-round pick Dez Bryant. But like Bryant, Paul has character concerns he needs to address before NFL scouts will be willing to spend a high pick to bring him in. Two alcohol-related citations (April 2009, May 2010) call into question his maturity and decision-making, a major issue with the league clamping down on off-field incidents. |

Please spend the next two picks on OL.

Our WR core is garbage right now. As far as Im concerned, there is no reason this dude should not make the cut. Armstrong was an UFA and he was probably our best WR last year. If not the best, he was the 2nd best WR. |

Thats funny, I was thinking the same thing. I have been aware of Helu, and the kid is good. I must say that I didn't remember the WR Paul. |
