Snyder being here as even a minority owner could still be an impediment to getting a stadium deal and making the investigations go away. Anybody buying a significant stake would surely want Snyder out of the building because of that. If someone offers him north of $5bn ( which one guy was willing to pay for Denver) then it would be hard to refuse for most right minded people. Though Dan is Dan so ....

Maybe it is just me, but as soon as you accept the possibilty of buying/selling something then it almost becomes inevitable, the fact that a full sale appears to be on the table is a major step forward.

I just found out about this just now. I hope this isn't just blowing smoke. I hope Dan will finally be gone.

I have said many times that I would return to the Commanders as their fan if it meant that Dan was finally gone. I hope that you guys would welcome me back too!

They wouldn't be making all of these announcements for a minority sale. When Snyder bought the rest of of the team, I don't remember it being such a big deal.
