Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
I LOVE the naked boot...it works like 98% of the time!
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Another one to ARE! Go Redskins!
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Why don't we run play action every first down?
|

Wow. I hope he's ok...and considers retiring immediately for his and his family's sake |

Damn...just saw that. Remember the play in KC when he hurt his head? |
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
nice complete to Randle El... one thing about Campbell his play fakes are solid... either that or the cameraman is a dunce!
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Jesus, our O-line (Cooley included) is sucking ass in the run-game.

It didn't look nearly as bad as the hit Gaithers put on him. Hopefully, he'll be okay. |
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
that could be the final play Green will play.
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread

Umm, what was that? |
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Wow ARE's biggest game of the year so far!
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
WHile I like the fact that Randle El is effective, we need to spread it around, not burn him out.
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
That was a hold on us...we got away with one there.
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Wade got away with an obvious holding there.
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
THAT is setting up the run with the Pass...good job coaching staff! You listened last week (at least so far)
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
ummm yeah like i said
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Does anyone else remember how well we rushed the ball off-center last year on draw plays? I don't know why we haven't called more of those plays when Portis is in the game.
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
WHo is 3rd on our depth chart at RB?
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Coooooooooooooooooooooooooley!!!!!!!!!
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Touchdown Chris Coooooollllleeeeyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
So far so good. We're keeping long, long drives going. Just gotta keep scoring points.
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
now THAT'S what we needed!
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
YEEEES!!!!
It was just about ALL about the Pass...this is what happens when you open up the offense and stop doing the SAME thing over and over and over and over! Good job coaching staff! |
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
nice long drive to put 7 on the board gives the D a rest... now let's see the D come out and terrorize Kitna again
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Campbell is making some great reads. If only he could learn some pocket awareness, he'd be the best QB in the division. It's frusterating.
7-0. Hail. |
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
nice playcalling mix on that last series nothing really fancy but the Lions didn't know what the hell was coming next
|

7-0. Hail.[/quote] That will come with experience |
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
Just an FYI...campbell is leading the league in passing yards this week (right now).
ARE is leading in rec. too. :D |
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
ahh loved the Coors Light commercial Denny Green during more sedate times

Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
As long as the play calling stays the same this is going to be an asskicking. I knew the Lions would be exposed for being one dimensional, and they aren't even that today!!!!!! Way to go D!!!!!!! I still think our next game is the first real test though. These sorry ass Lions like to tease their fans a lot. Overrated for sure. 2 sacks thus far for our D, expect at least 2-4 more before the end.
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
SUrprised the lions haven't gone to the run sooner. We are playing to stop the pass.
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
CARTER HAS IT!!! Yeah!!!
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
How do we not recover that fumble????
|
Re: Week 5: Lions at Redskins Game Thread
How in the hell did they get the ball from Carter?
