Why are people bagging on Cutler? The doctors were the ones that took him out of the game, and these days with the concerns relating to player safety (minus the 18 game season) the doctors word is final.

Well when current NFL players call him out and say they would stay in, it's kinda hard to argue. Plus lets be real if a player wants to play can a doctor really stop him?

Yes, the doctors word is final. Teams face the risk of fines and loss of draft picks if they play someone after a doctor rules them out. As I said before it's kind of ironic considering the owners insisting on 18 games but the safety issues are being taken seriously. Teams and players are not allowed to circumvent team doctors when it comes to injuries.
