Not the first time I've heard that. Seems everyone has their big day against the Redskins. Either breaking a losing streak or setting some sort of record. And what the F*** is with this team and getting flagged on big returns? This goes way back as well.

Remember those 89' Cowboys 1-15 of course they get their only win of the season against "yours truly"
yep, lost a 6 pack to my Bn Cmdr while in Panama. Skins have been letting me down for quite a while. Today is just another example.

No one was expecting miracles from the coaching staff but I am disappointed we are so methodical on offense and defense. It's disgusting...
You can have a deliberate offense when your defense is playing lights out but great defenses are never methodical, they are attacking. The Ravens were able to win a SB with this design but their defense carried the team.
You can't have a conservative defense and offense and expect to win because you have to have a perfect game from both sides to win.

We play the Giants next. Unfortunately they are a better team even with their injuries. We need to give our players a punchers chance of winning and that means being aggressive early and scrapping our 2 yards and a cloud of dust offense.

Also, we need to have a dynamic game plan. We do the same god damn thing from start to finish even if it doesn't work. Why didn't we stack the line and force Favre to pass? We did not exploit one matchup all day. Rice is back after missing pretty much the whole season and is not in football shape, yet we treated him like Desean Jackson. Harvin is a threat but he has also missed considerable time. We needed to make them try to beat us.

I just don't understand how we can let them run on us with Toby Gerhart.
I hope Haslett is fired at the end of the year because there is too much talent on the defense to be one of the historically worse football teams in history.

We have given up more yards per game than any defense in the last 10 years. Something has got to change at the end of the year.

I've stopped betting on this team years ago.

Laundry really would have helped with run support today. I guess when you are picking up 5 yards a run, those bootlegs just start to clear people out.

I agree with everything you are saying...you read my mind. Another thing about this coaching staff that I don't understand is why they changed the defense the way they did this year. Why didn't they keep the same system, meaning the 4-3, but played a more aggressive scheme. There wasn't anything wrong with the defense for the past two years to three years. The only problem, no turnovers, but that can be coached. I feel like we are trying to put square pegs into round holes by playing this defense...

I thought the first drive was amazing...so that's the good.

Now for the bad:

Trent Williams had another "rookie game"
Why do we keep starting Hicks and then pulling him for performance, or lack thereof? Just don't start him
Davis and even Williams really showed their inexperience today, missing some opportunities to cut back and follow blocks
Riley's penalty was awful and unnecessary, as was his decision to storm out without talking to reporters
How you let Favre scramble for 10 yards at the end like that...I have no words
Terrible drops by Moss, guy has been clutch time and again for us though

Playoff hopes aren't over but it's much much more difficult now. You can't worry about what all the other teams are doing if you can't take care of your own games. But we're getting more playing time out of our youngsters now, and that should pay off. Banks has been everything saden promised he would be, and more. And I do think Riley will be quite good, even KW I see contributing (though not starting). But as they get playing time they'll be making mistakes along the way

Love the optimism and hope you're right.

one more awesome stat "Favre hadn't gained more than 4 yards on a run since 2008."

Can someone verify this information please?

Please tell me that Montomery didn't start on the opening possession when we had our LONGEST drive of the season for a TD.

Only then to see Rabach come in to the game after that,to see Mcnabb under pressure the rest of the game as we lose?

Please tell me that's not true?
Please tell me,the coaching staff did not make this decision.
Please tell me this information is wrong?

Casey Rabach would get away with murder -- that kid has the full confidence of the Redskins staff for some reason

It's not true. Rabach started, and I'm pretty sure he played the whole game. Hicks started at RG, but was ultimately pulled for Montgomery

I totally blame Riley twice! And I'm not sure he will be quite good! Nothing changes a game like a game changer, and thats what Riley did!

I just can't believe we lost to a bad team with a super old QB and without their best player in the game. To make it worse, there were a multitude of idiots in the stadium cheering and celebrating an injured player(AP). This man was slowly getting up and by the sound of things, you would've thought WE scored. Way to show class...

Anyone think Favre doesn't even think about running it if Landry is in?

He was missed yesterday.
