I am more for balance, I want someone stronger at coverage on the otherside than pass rushing skill.
You guys also have to remember that DWare and Elvis Dummerville also had Red flags before the draft.. Those guys are great players, I think Quinn - Orakpo would be the start of a dominating defense IMO. Also we could probably trade down and get Jordan around 16 - 24 ish
Agreed. Rak, Quinn, Landry, and a quality NT and we're in business.

Browns are zeroing in on Quinn, it seems. Like I said earlier, Green and Quinn are 1-2 on their board and Green is likely gone...unless Bengals pull a shocker and take say Julio Jones.

^ I don't think that would be a shocker, I think JJ is better than green honestly. As for Quinn that sucks if Cle takes him, I'd like to trade down then

Re: Robert Quinn: Boom or Bust?

I have to admit I haven't been following the draft too much. Pretty much just following the threads for info.

I am not hearing much discussion on NT's. Are there any out there worthy of a 1st or 2nd round selection?

Quite frankly, I am of the mind that it is just such a freaking crapshoot. After about the first few guys, your probability of getting an impact player seriously declines. 10 is an iffy spot. It seems to me that the sure-fire defensive guys will all be gone by then. I am not a fan of any of the QB's or WR's on the boards at 10. It just seems to me that it will be slim pickings. In that case, I hope we can trade down but am just not sure we will find anyone willing to do that.

So, I have I just regurgitated what has already been said 30 or 40 times already but just not as intelligently?
^ heck yes I would but would you take him over a Quinn or Miller who can become a dominate pass rusher along side 98? Either way we are in a great spot at 10
This would be the perfect time to move down in the draft and pick up more picks. I think DE on the left side will be manned by Alexander or Wilson. NT or OLB/DE is not a glamorous pick in the first round but for this team, it's the right move.

Here's an interesting scenario. If both Quinn and Bowers fall to 10, who do you take?

Quinn. Bowers might be in line for microfracture surgery.

Quinn or JJ at 10 Or trade with STL

Re: Robert Quinn: Boom or Bust?

Just wondering how healthy Quinn is; he doesn't impress that much for a number ten pick in the first round.

I say trade down and get more picks.

On the other hand, Quinn has/had a brain tumor

I'd take Quinn though, between the two

Nothing against Quinn but I would take Aldon Smith.
Solid boom. Won't be as good as Orakpo but will be in his neighborhood.
according to coach shanahan adding an outside pass rusher is high on his priority list.

[Q] The Redskins badly need someone to attack the quarterback along with Brian Orakpo, and Lorenzo Alexander is not that guy. The Washington Post suggests that North Carolina OLB Robert Quinn would be a good fit at No. 10 overall. The Redskins recorded just 29 sacks last season, tied for 25th in the league. [U] ...boom maybe, solid value pick at #10 questionable.

Yeah, I'd trade with them or even New England would be better, to get more picks and still good players like Cameron Jordan or Aldon Smith or Jimmy Smith, Mike Pouncey, the list is endless.

But back to Quinn..
