And most of us are aware of that but don’t wanna hear it after a win where we clinch a playoff spot after hearing from “experts” this we were going to be 2-14 at best. |

So he is a bad fan for pointing out the fact that the Eagles literally handed us a victory by not kicking a chip shot fg and pulling their quarterback for Nate Sudfeld? We should just say rah rah go team go instead of reading between the lines and realizing that Alex Smith had no business being in that game? Im much more upset that our HC seemed as willing to lose the game by leaving Alex in than I am that Warthog is pointing out a major problem- which is RR’s love affair with Alex - or waiting until the last minute to pull Haskins last week. Make a God damn quarterback change if you have to. |

In terms of pulling Hurts, I have heard, but don't have a link to prove it, that that was his plan even before the game started. That said, our defense has tended to step up at end of games and who knows how it would have ended if Hurts stayed in. We were in fact leading when Hurts was pulled, and had completed a long drive for a TD earlier that quarter. I know the game was not the blowout I had hoped for, and I wish RR had put Heinicke in in the 4th quarter, but regardless of all of that ... NFC East Champs!!! Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

I don't care how or why waking up division champs today feels good

Re: NFC East Champs
Amen. They act like Hurts was going to own us. He wasn't exactly slinging it. Refs gave them one TD and they got one on their own, but fuck anyone saying otherwise.
This is a HELLUVA lot better than worrying about draft status in November. :D |

As has been said, in a year where our team had: A new coaching staff A new name Covid Head coach Cancer 1st round qb bust drama Injuries to our main already limited offensive weapons Expectations of picking top 3 in the draft by many in the media And so much more Our team: Swept Dallas Swept Philly Went 7-9 with several more oh so close games Showed heart Had a top 5 defensive performance And won the NFC East!!! Re: NFC East Champs
It was a weird game, stranger season. It feels good, also something unfulfilling about the division title with that effort last night. Sims jr fumbling and recovering punt, Alex terrible int, Alex Smith near fumble snap...all in the second half looked like we shouldn’t haven’t won that game.

Re: NFC East Champs
This comment by Sweat says it all:
Montez Sweat, asked about going from facing Hurts to Sudfeld, says, "No comment." Then asked about the differences he says: "Jalen's a dynamic guy, but I feel we would have finished the job with either one."
What is he supposed to say? "I think we would have lost if Jalen finished the game." ? |
The eagles are a damn joke ...
Theres a big difference between the 6th pick and the 9th pick in the draft. I would have done the same thing. Getting the 6th pick was a better move for them than winning a meaningless game. |
Re: NFC East Champs
Not sure what's more annoying, WFT fans crying about winning or Giants fans crying about going 6-10 and missing the playoffs
