Time may be the only thing to save the Steelers tonight. The Jets look Great!
Great? Nah. Not even close to great. They've played a good second half, but that first half was possibly the worst half of football they've played under Rex Ryan. |

Big Ben is a scumbag for sure. No denying that. But I like the Steelers organization and the way they go about their business, I really like Mike Tomlin, plus my mom grew up right outside of Pittsburgh so I have lots of Steelers fans in my family. Couple that with my hatred of Rex Ryan and his gang of mouthy pompous a-holes... It's a no-brainer for me really. |
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
I'm a rex ryan fan personally
|
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
Huge play coming up, go jets!!

Come on, 24-3 at half now 24-19 against Pitts. I think that at least qualifies as close to great. Win or lose, gotta give it up to the Jets tonight. |
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
I dont see them going 80 yards with 1:30 and no timeouts

Game over. Go Packers!
|
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
Oh well, back to smelling "dirty feet".
|
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
Well one things for sure. If the Steelers wouldn't have a prayer of competing in the SEC. I mean sure they can beat those perrty fancy football teams like the Jets but if they had to play Bama and Auburn, boy I tell you what.
|
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
Cant hate on them, I just envy them

Exactly. Jets are the new Eagles. Always the bridesmaid, never the bride. |
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
YESSSSS!!
LOL @ Rex Ryan smashing his head set to the ground. |
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread

I absolutely do not. They should be ashamed at how poorly they played in all facets in the first half. Cost them a conference championship and a Super Bowl berth. The second half showed they are clearly capable of beating the Steelers, but they shit the bed when it mattered most. They didn't quit, though. I'll give them that. |

Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
Good run by the Jets. As my friend said: People of Dallas, hide ya kids, hide ya wife... Big Ben is coming to town.

hahaha. Green Bay RB Starks, Superbowl MVP. |
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
It has been a good playoffs this year. My hat is off to both teams on the AFC. They are both great and are better than the two NFC finalists. The real NFL final was tonight in teh AFC game. No need to be ashamed.

Seriously. I told my friend after the game Roethlisberger was a pussy after I saw him on a knee after the game with a towel over his face. They said he's not a pussy!!! (<-- Steelers fan) I couldn't help myself, so my response was, you are what you rape. Terrible, i know, i know.... |

Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
I hate to differ, but I'm rooting for the Steelers. Grew up a Pirates fan and always liked the Steelers after the Redskins as a kid.
|
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
Mike Tomlin is the first coach in NFL history to go to two Super Bowls before the age of 40 (he's 38). That's damn impressive.

Of course Green Bay has a chance to win it. I just feel that IMO the Steelers and Jets and Patriots are slightly better. Just my opinion. |
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
I had GB and Indy So I was close
|
Re: Championship Weekend Games Thread
The Steelers rank up there with Dallas in my book, so GO GREEN BAY!
