OK this post made me laugh hysterically. That is unfortunate but it's also hilarious as F with the way you described it.

Got take the good with the bad.

I have had plenty of tits forced into me by hair stylist and dental hygienist.

yeah, I also thought about all the times as a kid the dental hygienist would smoother me with her breasts. there is a good side to having braces as a young boy.

i am not making this up - the eye doctor gave him his business card with his cell phone scribbled on it "in case I have an emergency and need to reach him at his home". i am not an attractive dude so i was flattered and uncomfortable at the same time.

Nothing this funny should be posted on the bad news theread. I think this deserves a "somewhere between good n bad news thread". Im imagining with his junk pressed up against you the torn thought between leaving your leg still and moving it so slightly away. dropped about $160 last night for date night.

$120 for a mediterranian dinner that had absolutely zero flavor. (rennatos)

I cleaned my plate bc thats what good fat boys do but my lady couldnt eat her entree.

$40 for wings and roasted brussel sprouts at the bar next door to the restaurant.

I absolutely HATE dropping good money on a disappointing dinner. We were supposed to go this soul food take out on U street but with the T storms decided to stay close in the potomac village.

Now i have to go by the soul food place after work anyways and spend even more money trying to rehab last night's debacle.

There's a bar next to Renatos?

its called "the tavern". i guess it opened up a few years ago. it has good food and beer.

renatos has gone down hill imo. i guess they are catering to the older crowd who complain of flavor.

i got the chicken parm and the chicken wasnt even breaded. just a naked piece of chicken with moz and sauce. zero seasoning. my parents love it.

my first job after college was an associate accounting position with a nice firm in bethesda.

i was not a coffee drinker but started when i began working there.

for the first week or so it felt like every time a boss came into my cubicle to introduce him or herself, i had just let go one of the stinkiest farts i have birthed.

so maybe your new colleague is nervous, changed up their bodily fluid schedule or just started drinking coffee ...

That is quite the quandary. I suppose you have to weigh the amount of work he/she is absorbing vs the amount of stench you are absorbing. Good luck.

Oh no, this is a great thing! Think of all the possibilities. He (or she) could fart out the National Anthem before each and every workday. Does this colleague try to cough each time a fart sneaks out as to hide the noise? Like Peter Griffin from Family Guy?

SS, if you need a small spray you can use discretely I'd recomend this stuff called Blunt Effects. You can find it usually at any convinence store. It will kill the smell if your having that problem.

I used to sit near an underwriter who would grip and rip all day. Really pissed me the hell off, just get up and fart in the breakroom or bathroom like everyone else.

I wasnt here when it happened, and my wife is an art teacher and extremely crafty. She was not only teaching them how to use the machine, but how to use it safely. Lol. It was a hand feeding machine and she looked away. The worst part was it took six needles to numb her finger and than they pulled it out so easily. There was no need for the shots.

The headline is a bit misleading since according to the article it was shot down by ground to air missiles. That's not the same as a crash in my mind, though just as tragic for the families of those on board. Think it's time to change flight plans away from the Russian Ukraine border for a while.

Just saw this. Not what I want to see before I fly to Ireland, but the fact that it was a missile attack is better than it being a crash.
Probably more tragic for the families that it was shot down. Unreal.

bad news for me - my 15 year old car now involuntarily honks its horn on sharp turns (the middle cover of my steering wheel is loose). its nice, 7:43 am, trying to navigate through city traffic and out of nowhere - hooooonk-honk-hoonk-hoooonk ... everyone looks around and i just put both hands up so they know im not intentionally honking my horn.

life is precious.

bad news for PA law enforcement - i find this situation to be terrifying and a real life rambo I. brings back all the DC sniper memories but this time it takes place in the thick deep woods with a marksman survivalist.

A reason millions of bees are dying - The Washington Post

I had heard of Colony Collapse Disorder before but right now its freaking me out because I'm not sure if I'm witnessing it first hand. The other day outside a super market there was a swarm of bees next to my car. Pretty much all of them seemed like they were dying as there were at least 20 dead bees in the middle of the swarm.

Then today when I get back to my place there's what appears to be a dead queen right next to where I park my car (seriously maybe its my car). And I'm pretty sure its a queen because it looked a lot like the queen in this picture.

For those who might think this is a good thing keep in mind bees play a vital part in the eco-system:
Globally there are more honey bees than other types of bee and pollinating insects, so it is the world's most important pollinator of food crops. It is estimated that one third of the food that we consume each day relies on pollination mainly by bees, but also by other insects, birds and bats
Basically there are farmers in Asia that are having to pollinate plants manually. A process which is extremely time consuming and ineffective especially compared to the rate bees are able to complete the same task. Of course when you're out of options, well beggars can't be choosers.

Regardless its still way to warm down here for the Bee's to start dying off. Personally I'm not the biggest environmentalist but this issue definitely has my attention.

In other bad news:
