Haha. Yep, me too. |
Re: The Saints come Marching in..
Both Armstead and McCoy out for the Saints…that’s Bigly.
But Samuel and Holcomb questionable. And Payne popped up today on injury report with a questionable tag for a toe |

Re: The Saints come Marching in..
Ha! I don't know.
I do think that while TH has been the reason we won two games so far, he will likely be the reason we lose this one. Just a hunch. I'm just picturing TH throwing the ball to the wrong team one too many times on Sunday. They have a good secondary, and they should game plan to take away the running game and Terry. If they are successful in doing those two things, I am not sure how we beat them, unless the defense finally decides to join the party. |
Re: The Saints come Marching in..
TH is not what I am worried about. Im relying on Gibson, Mckissic, and Samuel to pick up slack if McLaurin is neutralized. So much speed there. Of course that means Turner has to figure out what to do with it. Also Samuel has to be good to go. Logan is a huge loss.
I can imagine our D shitting the bed much more than I can imagine TH shitting it. We will see. My gut just tells me it is a win. Felt it for Giants and ATL but that was because they are not great teams. Knew Buffalo was not only gonna beat us but my gut told me it was going to be miserable. So between my gut and the Giants beating them last week im feeling good about this one. |
Re: The Saints come Marching in..
Well I hope your gut is right and not mine.

Re: The Saints come Marching in..
I actually think Davis given the opportunity is going to show why he was a 1st round pick. As someone else said, our D didn't get on track till Collins got injured last year, and I believe JDR especially is loathe to play young players unless forced too, and that RR isn't going to force players on him.
I don't know if we will win, but I think a LB crew of Holcomb, Davis and Hudson will be far more effective than what has been on the field till now.
Agreed about Davis. I think he's improving every game and was very good last week, watching the All 22 I saw him make some nice plays both in coverage and against the run. Hopefully Hudson helps improve our LBs' coverage. Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk |
Big Shoutout to the OL
They are 2nd in the league in sacks given up! That is amazing
Yeah they are playing really well. Leno's play is surprisingly solid IMO. Looked slow in ps, and week 1 against a very good DL, but since that he's been doing his job quite well IIRC. Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk |
Re: The Saints come Marching in..
The Saints are intriguing. Demolished Green Bay, who are looking good right now, solid win against the Pats.
Beaten by the Panthers who are a good team... And by the Giants who are not... I hope Taylor doesn't take too many risks because on paper their secondary is looking good. Hopefully our OL can keep up the good work and handle their DL. In the end it all comes down to can our defense figure its shit out... Envoyé de mon SHV48 en utilisant Tapatalk |
The Saints come Marching in..
I really really really (that is three really’s) want to see us take advantage of Gibson, McKissic, and Samuels speed along with Terry of course . Like have them all on the field at once and all running around like chickens with their heads cut off just making the Saints defense have to worry about which one of them is getting the pitch or screen. Running around behind the los pre snap. Lots of movement like oh shit which one of these guys is about to go flash gordon on our ass?

Re: The Saints come Marching in..
With the amount of injuries we have on paper we shouldn’t win this game and not even be close, but with Winston you never know what you’re gonna get,but I don’t think we win this game

Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
Not the news I wanted to wake up too. Sounds like that’s gonna definitely impact reps and maybe miss time. I usually don’t work on the weekends, but let me see if I can check the chart for Gibby….The severity is the determining factor, but rest is recommended so it doesn’t get worse. So it can get bad if he continues to play. But need more info about if this is a deep bone bruise or an actual fracture. Re: The Saints come Marching in..
Watching the Giants @ Saints got me more worried than I expected:
-Yeah their Offense has issues, but our D has not shown they could really stop anybody so far. And Taysom Hill can break tackles, which is scary when you remember the 2 TDs we allowed with several missed tackles last week... -Their D is good. Legit DL, tough to run on, and they bring pressure. As well as they have played, our OL struggled a bit against the Chargers and Bills' Dlines, this will again be a tough test for them. -The final score doesn't tell you the physionomie of the game, it was 21 to 10 halfway through the 4th and the Giants couldn't really move the ball against the Saints. Then they scored on a blown coverage by Lattimore (and a nice move by Barkley to get it in the endzone)18-21, had a 28 yards gain on a miss tackle by Jenkins, got them to FG range to tie the game. Their game winning drive in OT was nice, but take away a couple of big mistakes late in the game and the Giants couldn't do much against this D. Hard to predict, but if I have to, I say Saints 27 WFT 20. |

Re: The Saints come Marching in..
New Orleans run game is legit so Payne, Allen, Holcomb, Davis and Collins need to be ready to dominate the los.
Collins should really be our secret weapon in cleaning up the run, but they have never used him right and when he is in position he can’t consistently deliver |

Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk
That makes two of us. Bostic was ranked 80th of 81 qualified LB's by PFF this season. His coverage grade was abysmal. Not to knock his effort but he was over the hill. I hope we go with Hudson today to get more speed on the field. |

Re: The Saints come Marching in..
Center Eric McCoy and LT Terron Armstead both missing for the Saints is devastating to their offense. With both healthy they have a chance to keep Winston clean, even against the best lines. Without? No chance.
We’ll be missing guys sure but so are the Saints. Given that they have close to the very worst weapons on the outside, this is a definite get right game for our defense. Meanwhile their defense is great. I think it comes down to which QB makes more mistakes. I like Heinicke over Winston here. Don’t overrate the Saints without a healthy line. |

These guys have the talent to play at a high level as they did last year down the stretch. I do believe Ron when he says CY, Sweat have been “close” in putting together a dominant pass rush performance. |

You know who I'd take back ? Sean McVay... Seriously though I'm with you on the staff... it's fascinating to me how badly prepared this defense, and specifically secondary, is. Like FFS our coach tried to implement Quarter defense in division 3 in France, and these guys in the NFL can't remember it ?! |

Re: The Saints come Marching in..
From now on forget about our defense having a get right game, this D is the "get right" game for every opposing offense.
