He's probably a fan of the Skins. If you can't get an insider the next best thing is a good football player who follows the team. |

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
Some of the picks I'd change ....
RB Jordan Todman over RB Evan Royster... and FLA S Ahmad Black over Neb S Gomes... Watch video of the four and decide for yourselves... but Black was 2nd team All-AMERICAN... Gomes didn't even start for his team & if anyone has seen Todman run... man that guy is awesome... ran for almost 1,700yds and 14 TDs this past year... refuses to go down and he has a great demeanor and back story. Each were available when we selected the other. |

Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7

Too small to be a 3-4 DE, too slow to be an OLB. Unless he can really bulk up, he should disappoint. |

Shanny knows what he likes in RBs so i will give him the benefit |

Bio says he has a "relentless motor". I supposed the plan is to fatten him up for 3-4 DE? Or is it OLB? |
Re: 2011 NFL Draft: Rounds 4-7
What I found on DE Markus White...
While we’re on the subject of White’s Combine and Pro Day results, let’s take a look back at them: At the Combine he had a 4.86 40-yard time, and a 4.82 time at his Pro Day. Before either event, White had gotten as low as 4.59. It is possible that he could play faster than he tests; one reason you can’t put too much stock into the drills and tests at combine-style events. They’re good barometers of a players’ skill, but the best at gauging his potential is actually watching him play. On the bench, he threw up 225 pounds 14 and 15 times at the Combine and Pro Day, respectively. ~Like we mentioned before, those numbers aren’t going to wow too many scouts. But, he shouldn’t let them get him down. Judging from White’s play his senior season, he could become a late-round addition that ultimately pans out for someone’s team. During his lone season in defensive coordinator Mark Stoops’ 4-3 defense, White had 64 total tackles, 12.5 for loss and 8.0 sacks. Very solid numbers for a player who was in the midst of learning a brand new scheme as he was beginning to depart college. ~One of the intangibles a team could take away from White’s senior season is that he has good football sense. He can adapt to changing defenses and different play calls. It’s clear he didn’t stumble upon eight sacks by accident; clearly, he understood Stoops’ scheme and did so while maneuvering around some pretty good offensive lines. That’s one positive NFL teams may take away from White’s senior season. ~Another positive they could ultimately take away is the fact that White may very well have his best football ahead of him. A former transfer, he saw his production shoot up significantly across the three seasons he played at FSU. Being switched from safety to linebacker and ultimately to defensive end, he negotiated several changes during his time in Tallahassee. Although his training numbers probably earn a late-round selection, White’s potential should be enough to allow him to be drafted and have a true career. |
