Re: Annointing a new Face of the Franchise
New face? Is there any doubt anymore? Brian Orakpo.

Re: Annointing a new Face of the Franchise
Do you mean, "Orapko," as the annoying Baltimore announcer on NFLN kept calling him? Sam Huff botched his name, too. How hard is it to say, "Orakpo"?

That's alright. I'll bet the NFC East will know it forwards and backwards before the season's over. |
Re: Annointing a new Face of the Franchise
I think the fact that it's not totally obvious to us tells us that we don't really have a "face of the franchise."
Patriots... Brady. Colts... Manning. Eagles... McNabb. Bears... Urlacher. We don't have a guy who jumps out at you as soon as you hear the team mentioned.
Yeah we do, his name starts with a P and he likes to play dress up. |
Re: Annointing a new Face of the Franchise
Definitely not Portis. LeVar Arrington, even though he's long gone, is still my man and will be the face of the franchise for a long time, for me anyway. I don't really care for Portis...He's no John Riggins where you want to crank up the diesel every time he touches the ball. Snyder might like him, but I don't see why.
