You never know with RGIII at the helm, miracles do happen. |

RG-3 is solid but Kehl is the kind of impact player that comes along once ( or twice) in a lifetime. |
Re: Updated: Jaguars Claim Jason Babin
any idea as to who/how they would have made room for him?
Mario Addison is no longer on the team |
The Redskins did put a claim in, by the way. Don't know who else did
How do claims work? First one in gets the player? |

Im pretty sure its the team with the worst record. |
How do claims work? First one in gets the player?
it's like the draft order, updated weekly, worst gets theirs first.

Re: Updated: Jaguars Claim Jason Babin
Really surprised we put a claim on him although in the right fit he was a steal money and cap wise. Low risk high reward I guess.

Re: Updated: Jaguars Claim Jason Babin
Pigskin report suggested the Skins too. Amazing that we run a hybrid D like the Steelers and some people think there is no way he would have fit our D. Like any team that typically runs a 3:4 laughed at the idea of signing him. Its just not that simple.
Edit: also amazing that some people who are laughing at the thought of signing Babin have not noticed we run a 4:3 sometimes??
, The reason I didn't want him is because the article I read said he typified the overpaid underacheiving players on the Eagles. It also said I believe it was 2 players playing better at his position. |

Change of scenery to a division rival - i figured it would motivate him. Oh well. I knew he wasnt going to make it to us on waivers but his money situation and our lack of a pass rush made it appealing imo. |
Re: Updated: Jaguars Claim Jason Babin
I'm a........sucker for most of these type of deals. Bruce Smith? Oh Hell Yea!
Thank God.....there's a new sheriff riding herd on the Skins FA pool.......... |
Re: Updated: Jaguars Claim Jason Babin
ESPN SC NFL - Raiders LB Rolando McClain (1st-rd pick in 2010) informed he will be released on Thursday - Clayton
This thread should be devoted to him now. Much better than babin, in terms of could help this team more than 5 games |

There would have been no huge contract. This was a cheaper stop gap type move to help the passrush as we make a playoff push. When Rak came back he would have been gone. |

Doesn't get along with coach Allen, came to camp overweight, gun episode, etc. |
