I think the Broncos will put pressure on Howell hoping he screws up. I think he handles the pressure and has a good game especially with running game helping him out.
Watching week 1 - what running game? 😳 |

The c-men are fighting RR's logic to fly out late to a stadium played at elevation. There is no evidence that shows that you can arrive late and avoid the fatigue of altitude sickness and play at typical levels. All the research suggest acclimatization requires around 72 hrs. Imo they should've flown out Tuesday and practiced all week up there with a focus on light practices early. That said we are the better team I think we will win but will not be shocked if wheels fall off either. |
Pretty much every analyst I have heard break down the game against the Cardinals put at least half of the sacks on Howell himself. While I think he was 'ok', he must be better. The O-line was fine, and weren't nearly the liability they have been made out to be.
Week 2 presents another opportunity to evaluate. I don't think they'll disappoint.
Logan Paulsen on Take Command podcast is the best analysis around now. Super smart, unbiased. He is a much better version of Cooley in his prime breaking down film with Sheehan. Basically a Cooley who actually puts in some effort. |

The turnovers on offense and the missed turnovers in the secondary was the difference between ugly and blowout. To me, AG and Howell fumbles were no excuse pathetic. You have to clean that up, but also Butler, Forbes and Curl have to get 1 or 2 of those opportunities. Also, why the fuck did we draft Martin with Forrest, Curl and Butler playing as a solid unit in the 3 safety look? Lastly sign Curl to an extension NOW |
Re: Manders vs Broncos pre game
I want to win just so Payton starts off 0-2. That guy is such a fucking dick. He was running his mouth about a potential owner possibly offering him the job here. Then he's talking shit about the Jets OC. The guy has zero respect for his fellow coaches. Plus he had some elite teams in New Orleans and only made it to one SB. The guy kept taking Brees off the field cause he had a hard on for Taysom Hill. Thinks he's the smartest guy in the room.

I'd still take Williams over Del Rio! |

Neither is good, that’s why they’ve been around many teams in the NFL and lesser leagues. They start hot and doesn’t take long for OC’s to figure them out |
