Any feed back about CBD oil medical uses? Anybody tried or family, friends used for pain, anxiety, arthritis, or even for dogs?
Looking for any feedback |

Looking for any feedback
I've used a CBD balm for my back. I didn't notice much of a difference between over the counter balms and it was very expensive in comparison. That was just one time, could have been a fluke experience, maybe I chose the wrong brand, etc. I'll definitely try again in the future. I bought some flower out of a vending machine earlier this year, that was wild. Loaded in two $20 bills, pressed G7 or whatever it was, got 6 grams of the stickiest ickiest King Louis. I had to show my ID to get into the place, it's not like the vending machine was in the middle of the mall, still wild though. |

Wtf...seriously Virginia, get your shit together |

Re: Medical/Recreational Marijuana thread
Do you guys who smoke agree that it can cause a marijuana hangover that effects you the next day even if you don't smoke the following day? I don't smoke the stuff, but back in Cali had a friend who stayed with me on and off who smoked almost daily. He had this project car that he tried to work on in his spare time. It was pretty obvious if he smoked up a storm after work on a Friday night that car wasn't getting much attention on the weekend. This guy is naturally very lazy, but if he didn't smoke the previous night he did more the next day.
It is probably like alcohol, if you over do it you are shot the next day. Also the guy was in his mid 40's then and 100 pounds overweight, that probably didn't help with the pot hangovers. He also used to get samples of the edibles. I tried a few of them just to taste, boy were they nasty. I don't see how anyone could stand them. Everytime he would spend so much at the pot store he would get a free cookie, brownie, peanut butter, etc. The stuff tasted like it was mixed with dirt. |
Re: Medical/Recreational Marijuana thread
Outside of maybe feeling a little groggy first thing in the morning that's the extent of any "hangover" I've ever felt. Nothing that a shower and coffee can't fix. Certainly nothing that would ever come close to an alcohol hangover that's for sure.

Isn't it true that if someone has high body fat it stays in their system longer? Maybe the 100# overweight made him unable to shake it off easy. This guy had a $1,000 espresso machine and would down about a quart of it every morning to try to kick start himself. If he had smoked up a storm the night before nothing got him going. |

Its possible he simply has a substance abuse problem or just couldn't handle tree. Its not for everybody. |

I do. https://brobible.com/life/article/scientific-study-weed-smoke-loser/
The extensive study followed children from birth up til the age of 38-years-old, and researchers discovered individuals who smoked pot four or more days of the week over many years ended up in a lower social class than their parents, with lower-paying, less skilled and less prestigious jobs than those who were not regular cannabis smokers. These regular and persistent users also experienced more financial, work-related and relationship difficulties, which worsened as the number of years of regular cannabis use progressed.
|
I do.
https://brobible.com/life/article/scientific-study-weed-smoke-loser/
So wait, are you trying to promote that pot heads are worse off financially than alcoholics? It's pretty clear that heavy pot use is bad, but the overwhelming body of evidence shows alcohol abuse is crippling (both financially and health wise). Personally, I don't give a shit. Let states decide. Medically obviously the stuff should be made available. |

It's an approx n=900 study, exclusively in New Zealand and based off of arbitrary self reported metrics, only up to age 38. So yeah, tight bro. Also, where are the risk numbers? Absolute vs. relative risk? I can't find them anywhere. I think this is a case where you can use common sense. If you are just trolling, then tight I guess... My point was he functions very well as a stoner. Most males aren't even going to be alive at 86. |
Re: Medical/Recreational Marijuana thread
Anybody use marijuana oil for pain? I have a fused spine and other maladies and doctors will no longer prescribe pain pills for chronic long term pain sufferers due to the opioid crisis. I have no interest in getting stoned just some relief. A lot of time pain disturbs my sleep and I never slept well anyway. I don't want to get high or the munchies. The laws here in Virginia on it are vague and changing. Can a person buy recreational pot in DC with a Virginia I.D.? Also anybody know how much for a month's supply of oil?

Re: Medical/Recreational Marijuana thread
Every rule has its exceptions.
Exactly, if someone is a highly functional pot smoker, how are they different than a highly functional person who consumes alcohol on the same level? I have just known too many people who drink everyday after work to the point of staggering and slurred speech that think all pot smokers are losers. My dad was that way and he was a cop to boot. The problems caused by pot smoking is nothing compared to alcohol. |
Re: Medical/Recreational Marijuana thread
Why do people keep comparing weed to alcohol? I don't understand it. If you drink alcohol all day and you're unproductive, you're a loser. If you smoke weed all day and you're unproductive, you're a loser. Neither is good.
